Oh, I heard about that Water Prize. Is it given to someone every year? And does it always have to do with water? Just wondering...

Queen Silvia and King Carl Gustaf awarded the Stockholm Water Prize, endowed with $150.000, to Colin Chartres from the International Water Management Institute (IWMI).

Lehtikuva gallery from the arrival of the Queen (while the King, like he does all too frequently, rushed ahead and didn't bother to pose briefly for a pic with his wife):

This year no pics of the royal couple inside the city hall, only the king by celebration? ;)
