Favorite Children's or Candid Picture (July 2009 Informal Poll)
Welcome to the
July 2009 Informal Picture of the Month Poll!

This month's poll features Royal Children and Candid Pictures

The pictures in this poll show the informal side of royalty. It will close on 30 August 2009. During this time, we ask that NO ONE STATE WHOM THEY'VE VOTED FOR so as not to influence other members as they make their choices. After the poll closes, you can discuss as much as you'd like about which image you voted for and why.

This month, our Picture of the Month representatives had help in selecting their images with a small committee of their choosing. Below, you can see each royal house's representative (in bold) followed by their chosen committee members.

Denmark did not submit an informal picture for the July poll.
If a certain country is not posted, then that means they did not submit a picture.

You know, this is just so unfair: we should get more than one vote! How are you supposed to choose between so many great pictures?!
I find it practically impossible to choose between 4 of my favourite pictures (and it took a lot of time downsizing the favourites to just 4). 3 of them are just plain cute, the 4th one is a bit unusual but brilliant choice.

Wonderful pictures, everyone! :flowers:

Once again,it was one of the best polls so far!Congratulations!

Marsel 08-30-2009 04:47 PM

Congratulations to Norway! :flowers:

That picture of Marius and Sverre Magnus is one of the sweetest, most beautiful and artistic images of royal children I've ever seen.
A very worthy victory and I'm glad to have contributed to it with my vote.

All other pictures were wonderful as well; it was very hard to choose among the great number of great choices.
I was particularly torn between the picture of the adorable Lalla Khadija and the hilarious picture of Prince Charles.
Special thanks to the British picture of the month committee for opting to be different and selecting a picture (a brilliant one too) of an adult, rather than cute kid. :flowers:

Dierna23 08-30-2009 04:48 PM
