The Netherlands is guest of honour at the 2011 Beijing International Book Fair BIBF from August 31
till September 4. The Dutch exhibit, which covers an area of 1500 m2, is called "Open Landscape –
Open Book".

Today, Princess Laurentien attended the 2011 Beijing International Publishing Forum in Beijing, she
will also officially present the Chinese translation of her children's book "Mr Finney and the World
Turned Upside-down".

It was not the chinese translation tho,the book is published in english in China...for the time being.Many Chinese love to give their child...(They're only allowed to have one..:ermm:.) a multi-lingual education and english is most popular.:smile:

Princess Laurentien attended the presentation of the new Mr. Finney product "The Tijdmeester"
at the Tropen museum in Amsterdam, September 28, 2011.

The Tijdmeester (Time master) is a clock to make children aware of the time they spend watching
TV, under the shower or reading a book.

Princess Laurentien and Prince Constantijn with their kids attended the premiere of the film "Dolfje
Weerwolfje" at the Royal Theatre Carré in Amsterdam. It's a Dutch children's film from 2011, based
on a book series by Paul van Loon (pictured with the family).

TRH Princess Laurentien and Princess Margriet will attend the hand-out of the ECF Princess Margriet Award (European Culturel Foundation) at the Egg,Brussels on monday march 19th.

Princess Margriet has been Chair of the ECF for many years but her successor,Princess Laurentien founded the Award named after her aunt.

Laurentien da Holanda visita Portugal em maio - Caras.pt

Princess Laurentien will be in Portugal in May.
She was invited by the Gulbenkian Foundation to launch the portuguese translation of her Mr. Finey book.
She will stay for two days and visit two primary schools in Lisbon where, after reading the book, the kids will be encouraged to raise questions to the princess about her interest in the environment and to share their ideas of how to save the planet.
