Picture of the Month - December 2006

Welcome to December's Picture of the Month poll!

So that we can keep the Picture of the Month poll in compliance with our rules regarding the sharing of copyrighted photos here at The Royal Forums, the candidates for Picture of the Month are presented to you in the form of weblinks. To view the photos, click on the links.

This month, our Picture of the Month representatives had help in selecting their images with a small committee of their choosing. Below, you can see each royal house's representative (in bold) followed by their chosen committee members.

Belgium: Danielle - Dennism, Adry

Britain: ysbel - Avalon

The poll will be open for three weeks. It will close on January 27. During these three weeks, we ask that no one state whom they've voted for so as not to influence other members as they make their choices. For the final week of the month, you can discuss as much as you'd like about which image you voted for and why.

Please note that the links in the above poll have been posted in the order in which they were received and do not reflect the opinions of the moderating team.

K. BRITAIN

Four-year-old Margarita Armstrong-Jones stole the show on Christmas Day as the Royal Family attended a Christmas Day church service. Margarita, the daughter of the Queen's nephew Viscount Linley, swung from the hands of her cousins Prince William and Peter Phillips as she made her way to St Mary Magdalene Church near the Queen's residence at Sandringham. As William and Peter repeatedly swung her high in the air, the little Margarita screamed "More, more, more!" She then gazed adoringly up at William as she held his hand before helping the Queen collect flowers from local children after the service.
