yes anna, u're right. MM was wearing the same headthing as Victoria Beckham. It's a branded one , I wonder which brand it is.....

I don't really like that one. I'm not sure why but it freaks me out a bit.

What happened to M-M in the first picture? Where was she hurt? :o

She had received a really bad sunburn while giving an interview outdoors with Crown Prince Haakon. This happened in May 2002 I believe.

I remember that. Haakon was badly burnt as well. I believe that Mette-Marit also suffered some eye problems as well and spent days in a dark room.

Yes it was the same hat. If you look in the Maud Angelica Christening thread, you can see the same question and I believe a picture of Victoria Beckham in the same hat.

The headpiece she wore for her daughter's christening is my favorite. It is eye catching and at the same time makes her look younger.

I am truly sorry that I have to disagree about that headpiece. It looks like someone glued colored twigs to her head.

3) Hat from 29.6.2002 It was when for a ceremony when the last chief justice retired.
She is still suffering from the sunburns after beeing toasted by the german tv team. Dont really like this hat, too square, but atleast it is a proper hat, and not another one og those head constructions she has been sporting lately.

Hehe..I read your post at RB Larzen and it seems CP MM has combined the good and bad points she was criticized for.

In the burgundy hat picture, she wears the lovely soft pink color that she was praised for, but she then goes back to those much disliked turtlenecks.;)

LOL ! I just dont see why she insists on wearing those turtlenecks, she has this long slender neck and then she covers it up with a dark turtleneck. It has annoyed me for a long time, and when the critical article on her style was written, the use of turtlenecks was what I agreed with the most. Why dont show of your assets? Other than that I think she has looked very good during the statevisit with the pink dress as the highpoint, one og her best appearances ever.
