Do you dream about Royalty?

This may be another silly topic, but I had a crazy dream about Royalty the other night and it isn't the first time. I was wondering if anyone else had dreams about the Royals. In my dream, I saw "Holland's Royal Family" (which was in fact, a composite of different countries Royalty) dining at a local restaurant of mine. I come from a very small country town so I was quite astounded at this!! It was Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, and Haakon and Mette-Marit. I didn't want to interrupt them while they were dining but I was dying to take some pictures so I followed them to some place by the water where they got on a boat. I had just taken a photo when one of their 'minders' (yes, they had their guards with them) took my 35mm camera and threw it overboard. My haughty reply in my dream was "Oh well, that camera was cheap and obsolete anyway!"
I have also had other dreams over the years but I also remember one a looooong time ago where I was great pals with the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson. I was sad when I awoke as I was enjoying her company so much in my dream.
So my question is, do YOU dream about Royalty??

A few months ago I had the most silly dream I ever had in my life. There was a woman on the Oprah show who was about to give birth to 11 children. Then the dream continued with Oprah AND Laura Bush being present at the birth of the childen. Then Laura and Oprah went to Dolly Parton who was in labour for 18 children and finally to Princess Letizia who got 27 babies at once. Felipe and Juan Carlos were watching and were panicking with every child that came, how should they provide for them? Number 14 was a boy that they called infante Diego and the King said the boy had to become a soccerplayer.

I wonder how Freud would explain this.

What did you eat before you went to bed? They say if you eat something odd before you go to sleep you might have odd dreams.
I think I've had dreams about being a royal before- but sadly I really don't remember the dreams.

Marengo - you dream about Laura Bush too? I dreamt that I was on a cruise with Laura Bush the other day and we got told off for dancing on table-tops to Copa Cabana. Very bizarre.

Well, I also dream about royalty too. But in my dreams I am usually a princess. And not a princess of monarch countries, but "made up" countries. Needless to say I'm sad when I wake up. lol

Sure! I've had two dreams about the Luxembourg Royals. In the first one, I was at my workplace (which wasn't really where I worked in real life) and Henri and M-T came for an official visit to my workplace. I remember I was talking with M-T perfectly fine and we were just chatting. When I tried to shake Henri's hand he looked at me like "Get away!" And I felt sad because he was acting rude toward me.

In the second dream (months apart from the first dream) I was at my workplace (again, not my real life workplace) and we got word that Henri was visiting and we could arrange to meet him and Guillaume only if we filled out an appointment card. So, needless to say, I rushed to fill out a card and I put on it that I wanted to meet Guillaume. Well, I ran to the nearest store and bought a magazine and a chocolate bar to give to Guillaume as a gift. When I got back to my work, I waited and waited for the "secretary" to tell me that I could meet Guillaume. I remeber feeling anxious because there was only a certain amount of time that Guillaume would be meeting people, and that time was almost up. So, FINALLY, I was called into the "meeting" room and could meet with Guillaume. When I went into the room, there was a long table with a lot of men seated and just talking. Guillaume wasn't there. I remember I got mad as I waited. FINALLY, Guillaume walked in. He wasn't in the least bit interested in meeting people, and told me that he was only doing it because Henri told him to. Then, it was time for them to leave as they had an arranged appointment elsewhere. In an instant everyone was gone from the room, even the table, and it was just him and me. Alone, we started talking about nothing really--just general things. We just chatted and we exchanged contact info. The end. That was really long. Well, now that I've bored you, I shall end this. LOL

This year my family and myself were in the Hague for Prinsjesdag and were taking my 5 year old niece for the first time. A few weeks before we went I dreamt that we were in the Hague and had gone into Noordeinde Palace. We were standing in one of the rooms looking at the paintings when the door opened and Queen Beatrix entered and she immediately burst into a chorus of tulips from Amsterdam. I thought to myself "wow, what a gal."

I remember that a few days before my final exams after my secondary school I had a dream about Queen Sofia, who was extremely angry and shouting at me  I was completely petrified, although I didn't know the cause of her being soooo mad... Maybe she was angry because she knew I hadn't learned too much for the exams...  I really love Sofia, but during a few days after this dream I couldn't look at the pictures of her without some strange feeling inside me...

I had also another dream connected with Spanish RF. It was I think 2-3 days before the arrival of Leonor and I was completely sure, don't know why, the baby would be the boy. I had the dream that I was sitting in front of the PC and then entered "hola" site and noticed the heading "girl for F&L" or sth like that. I woke up immediately and was absolutely certain that it was real, so I ran to my sis' bedroom and turned on the computer in order to read the happy and quite surprising, for me, news (because I thought it will be boy). It was around 3 am at night and my sis woke up and was really angry with me for that. I entered my favourite TRF and what?! Nothing! No news! And 3 days later Leo made her big debut...

When I start dreaming about royals I know I'm spending way to much time on here.

I remember as a child I once dreamt that I was going to marry prince Friso, which I didn't like at all... bizarre. :ermm:

I had a dream about fictional royalty once.

I had just married the second born son of the Emperor of Germany. His name was Gerhardt (my husband, not the Emperor). None of the atrocities of Nazism had occured and Communism and the Iron Curtain never existed. Germany was always a united and nearly idyllic country and the Royal Family was very beloved by the people - not universally but for the most part.

As the dream progressed, the Crown Prince abdicated his role because he married an unsuitable woman so my second-born-son husband became Crown Prince in his place and I became Crown Princess. I was BRILLIANT at being a royal wife and adjusted in record time and became the style/substance icon of my time. Gerhardt and I had six children: Georg; Maximillian (born one year to the day after Georg); twin girls Claudia and Christina; Sophie and Alexandra. We accomplished great things for the German Empire as well as numerous international causes. We'd still be going strong if it weren't for that @#$&*(^ alarm clock!!!!

I should mention in my dream my Crown Prince husband looked like Liam Neeson so I had a semi-permanent smile on my face for a whole day.

Well, If I dream about royalty its about made-up countries most of the time, too..
But once, I dreamt that I was the nanny of Marius and Ingrid. Sverre was still too small, he was with his mom all the time. It was a cool dream. Norway was beautieful. Mette-Marit was really nice, but sometimes a little bitchy.

I don`t really know why I dreamt this as I don`t think of her that way. Maybe because of my neighbour who looks a little bit like Mette and is that way. She has a boy and a little girl, though no baby-boy, so thats maybe why I dreamt this.

When I was 8 i dreamt that prince william gave me a private tour of Buckingham Palace. And I also had a nightmare of Princess Diana and she told me to shutup!!! lol

I once dreamt that I was at a party and was sitting conversing w/ P. Caroline of Monaco. I was in the middle of reading a book about her parents, and coincidently P. Charles visited a university located about an hr's drive from me. The two probably influenced my dream.

I dreamed that Queen Elizabeth was the on-call emergency doctor two weeks before I had my first child. Two weeks later the doctor who actually delivered my child was named Dr. Charles. Hmmmm.

Last night I dreamed Louis Alphonse de Borbon came into a library where I was working (I'm a librarian BTW), and began speaking to me in perfect English. After a while I said to him, quite casually, "Louis, why don't we start talking in French?" (My French is pretty limited). So he said "sure!" and then we started babbling away in French. He was very handsome and was wearing a nice suit. I've had other dreams in the past about Princess Diana but this was a first.
