HRH Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg is only 15 years old but she still has some very pretty jewelry. :)

Alexandra is such a pretty girl and can pull off pearls with such elegance and style and she's so young! I can't wait until she gets a tiara; I think she'd look stunning in one!

She is Pretty and wears the jewels well for one so young

HRH Mims 07-05-2006 03:14 PM

What do you think, which tiara will be her first? I think, it could be this one:
http://img124.imagevenue.com/img.php...asapphire.jpg- this tiara haven't her mother wear often (its a pitty, because, it's really nice piece)
or this one: tiara of her grandma http://img19.imagevenue.com/img.php?...gjosephine.jpg

Alexandra's Ring

hello

why the Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg wears a ring in his left hand

Shaiya 11-07-2008 07:54 PM

Princess Alexandra is a "her" but I understand what you mean. She's not engaged obviously, and some young girls (like me) just like to accessorize. She's a year older than I am, so she's definitely not engaged or anything. Maybe it was given to her by a bf, but more likely than not, it's just a pretty ring she likes. Can you produce a picture of the ring?

kalima 11-10-2008 02:10 PM

thank you and I am sorry for my bad english

bf !!!!!!! boyfriend has she a boyfriend

Similar to the "case" of CP Victoria of Sweden's ring.

greek101 11-10-2008 08:56 PM

Maybe it was a gift from her parents?!

sgl 11-10-2008 11:32 PM

I think she is probably just wearing it on that hand as an accessory. She probably wanted to wear a ring on each hand. It doesn't look like an engagement ring to me. She seems a bit young to be engaged, but who knows?

greek101 11-11-2008 01:27 AM

Exactly, I mean Queen Anne Marie became engaged at 15 to King Constantine... but it does seem a little unlikely in this case.

Shaiya 11-11-2008 03:21 AM

She's not engaged. An engagement would have been announced. And that ring definitely doesn't look like an engagement ring. It looks kinda cheap and has a star on it, so yeah, I'm guessing no. ;)

I know that peole in Germany wear a wedding ring on their right hand instead of their left hand so presumably its the same in Luxembourg therefore freeing up the left hand to wear dress jewellery.

maria-olivia 11-11-2008 07:57 AM

This young Princess just starts her public life and they are already speculations about ther ring..

Josefine 12-11-2008 02:37 PM

this year was the first time she wore a tiara
is there a photo and is it a tiara that has been worn before by the family?

sugarbaby318 12-24-2008 01:05 PM

It could even be a promise ring. They are very strongly Catholic after all...

chaimae 12-24-2008 03:48 PM

miss KALIMA in your opinion that every one wear a ring in the right hand is engaged !!!!!!!!
All the girls like me and you we wear rings in the right hand of the left hand but that doesnt mean that we are engaged or married !!!!!!!!
it a simple accessory !!!!

What's a promise ring? I'm with those who think this is a simple accessory. Must be tough being a princess. Can't wear a ring without rumours flying!

Nitefeatherz 12-25-2008 02:16 PM

A promise ring is a ring that is given as a 'promise' that one day the couple will agree to become engaged. As in, "we're not engaged yet but plan on becoming engaged."
