Allright, thank you, Marsel. I will take a look and answer in the group. Its a pity that there's no information about new posts in the groups.

It's been really cold here too: I think we are entering a full 'winter' mode.
Just added my 'favourite' one to the group discussion: there were quite a few to choose from, mind.

Good to know. Oh yes, it was terrible week, lot of work plus its displeasing cold out there. (I love those smileys here ) I hope you have had a better time. Btw we're searching for a topic in the PM-group. If you have any idea, feel free.

Real life does get on the way sometimes, doesn't it?
I quite agree: those videos are distasteful and offensive: no one deserves to be on the receiving end of those.
Btw, I have a soft spot for black sheep too.

Hi Marsel, sorry for the delay in answering. I'm quite busy. Thank you, I feared I was too harsh maybe in the thread. Sometimes I'm a bit too saracastic (but that maybe doesn't come out when I write in english ). I share your opinions, I think, Kate Middleton polarizes quite a bit. But if you're fond of her or not (depending of the few appearences of her) - she doesn't deserves such rude things like those silly youtube-videos for example. Says me - who has a soft spots for black sheeps (Duke of Windsor, Princess Michael etc).

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in St Petersburg: it's truly a glorious city, even if it's me say so.

There is absolutely no way I would mind anyone expressing their opinion, whether it's about Middletons or anyone else, and certainly not when it was done so politely.
That's what I did too - expressed my opinion about their situation. On the whole, I couldn’t care less for any member of the Middleton family, including Kate (although Pippa is quite lively, in my opinion). I just think that none of them have done anything to deserve praise or hatred, and perhaps fared with the situation better than many would in their place.

Oh, it can be a benefit two have bilingual parents, I was raised up bilingual. Its very nice to hear, that you like everything french I like Russia and its history. Last year I stayed in St. Petersburg for two weeks and it was like a dream come true to see and visit all these amazing buildings! A fascinating city and I hope to see more of the country in the next years.

PS: I hope you don't mind my opinion in the Middleton-thread. I like Kate, but can't stand of what I seen from her family.

    Your English is quite perfect!
My mother was Canadian, so it was a matter of pride to learn both English and French on an adequate level.

I love French people (well, everything French, really). My brother-in-law is French and I'm actually very impressed at his language skills: he knew Spanish and Portuguese and managed to learn Russian is less than a year.

I didn't even know Ella studied Spanish literature, so thanks for the information! It's extremely likely she learnt / had to learn Spanish in the process. The Kents are quite a bilingual folk!

    Dasvedanje.
    (it's absolutely correct)

YOU know quite a few languages! Your english is so perfect, the french are a bit stupid: they just don't speak another language than french. Actually in Paris its not easy to find someone on the Metro-Station who speaks good english. Thats why mine isnt well too. Yes, german is a difficult language, you have my respect for learning it, it must be hard for if you're native in slavian languages!
I believe, Freddie & Ella can speak french, maybe german as well but I'm not sure. Oh, Ella studied spanish literature and works in Argentina, so I'm pretty sure, she speaks spanish as well! I'm able to speak a bit italian, but thats it. Languages are fascinating. Thank you for your offer, dasvedanje (is this correct?) and greetings.

You know quite a few languages!
If you'll ever make up your mind to learn Russian, I'd be glad to help you to the best of my abilities.

I had a hard time learning German, the language just didn't want to surrender to me: if it hadn't been for my Mother (who speaks fluent German), I don't think I'd manage it.

Princess Michael probably spoke only English with Freddie and Ella but it is possible they have learnt German: I think it is extremely likely they speak at least one foreign language, and French and/or German would probably be among the top choices for them.
