In my family I am Oma, Grandma, my Grandchildren live with me and that is what they have always called me. Now everyone calls me Oma, family, friends and so on. To me it is very endearing. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season. (My real name is Cheryl, but feel free to call me Oma too, I would be honored!)

I'm sorry, but I had to ask you why your username means. I call my grandparents Oma and Opa, and I love hearing other english-speakers using the phrase!
