    Here's a link to The Mountbattens. One poster on this form mentioned that Prince William takes after the Mountbattens. Judging from the cover of this book, I agree.

    No, been doing all my singing in church. :-) We're a little too far inland to find sailors there. I'm currently reading Alden Hatch's book on the Mountbatten's. It's an interesting story, although it has the flavour of an adventure novel. Quite entertaining, though.

    Georges V and VI are probably my favourite monarchs to read about. They were so "ordinary" in so many ways and yet had a real majesty about them when the occasion demanded it.
