CPss Victoria sometimes have terrible hairdos f.ex. on Fred&Mary wedding.

I really don't like infant Elena hairdo, maybe that braid is very comfortable but not elegant at all.

That's her own version of helmet hair:D and once in a while (not very often really) she changes her style

i think that Rania's coronation updo was quite appropriate, I loved her whole look on that day

Except it made her look middle aged instead of a fresh, young, pretty queen.

Talking of bad hair and related things, remember the Duchess of York's line in 'novelty' hair clips and bands????? :( Thank goodness she has sorted her style out now.

Letizia's current blond hair is horrible and doesn't fit for her at all. Her genuine hair color was better and she looked more beautiful when she was brunette. Now her hair is very ugly ,too dry and broken.

Geez

Oh my Lord! I can't believe this thread has made to page 2 with no mention of Princess Ann's everlasting Beehive? Searching for Bobby Fischer...

I totally agree with you. Letizia's hair is so dry and unhealthy.

You must have very good eyes truth -- to have seen broken hairs or split ends from pictures!

In which of Letizia's recent public engagements did you think she had dry and broken hair?

A few random pictures of Letizia recently, with what looks to me like pretty soft and healthy hair.

I would also add that post-pregnancy many women find that their hair has changed in colour and texture, not to mention its growth patterns, due to a change in hormones. Some women I know have said their hair has fallen out in clumps post-pregnancy, while others have said that their hair has grown back thicker and darker, for others their hair has lightened and gotten thinner.

Many people may disagree with me but this hairdo is just awful, actually the whole outfit was, Crown Princess Victoria (Nobel 1995):

I love Crown Princess Victoria but the hair just kind of puffs out with a dinky tiara on her head. It was such a matronly look, it made her look 40 than 18! (which she was at the time) And the bag dress does nothing for her. I just really didn't like the hair, but I can happily say she has improved ENORMOUSLY in the whole fashion deparment in the past couple years. You can see the progression throughout her Nobel outfits. It gets more put together as the years go by (including the hair :D). :)

I definitely agree with you. Her hair for Nobel 1995 was pretty bad but thankfully, as you said, she has improved in the past couple of years.

She got her mother's propension to the helmet hair...

The European Queens should make an announcement for L'oreal: the gel and all the products for hair cannot have better publicity

Queen Beatrix: Hi, have you ever tried the new L'oreal Gel with c-extracts, it's awesome, lets your hair shinny but very well placed; doesn't it, girls?

QS, QEII, QMII: oh yeah; because we're worth it

:D :D :D :D

I'm one of the members of the TRF staff of stand-up comedy:D , someody should make fun of our beloved royals every once in a while, and the "helmet hair" is a never ending source of jokes:D

Good point Alexandria,my thoughts exactly,Letizia has a gorgous hair much better than many royals who dye or make highlights on their hair,we have QR's example, the highlights make her hair very dry and forks burned.

It's strange that some see the worst things on some royals because they don't like them, and see everything perfect on royals that they adore.

To call her hair like a broom is very odd.

If so what about QR,did u see her last pictures, her stylist should be in holidays.

Sophie Wessex's hair while not being bad per se is incredibly boring. She's had the same style/colour for years now.

Hahaha, that's hilarious! :D But you forgot one exponent of the helmet hair club: Queen Fabiola! She might as well be chairman, imo... ;)

I think Queen Sonjas hair in 2001 was HORRIBLE (its not much better now), she coloured it so it looked nicotine yellow in the front and she does not even smoke, to add to that the giant fringe she sports all the time made her look front heavy.

She used to be brown and my guess is that she is now greying but fights it too hard and makes the hair look very dry and unnatural, not to talk about the color. She should take a page from Sofia and relaise that grandmothers are allowed to have grey hair and it can still look neat

Agree. She has very thin and delicate hair, she should have them shorter to give some volume.
Her hair have nor shape, nor volume, so they should be shorter.

Anyway, blond colour does not fit her, I would prefer a warmer colour, brownish, whatever. Now she is "no colour".

She is very nice when she has elaborated hair, like shignons, or other.

She constantly need to have a hairdresser into her pocket.

Now Victoria's ponytail! Not that a ponytail is bad but Victoria has gotten into a habit where she does it ALL the time and it's always in a regular old rubber band and the hairstyle does nothing for her. I don't know why Victoria is against a good old stylish haircut, perhaps to her shoulders? maybe with a few layers.

And if Victoria must keep her growing hair, I wish she would let it down more. Madeleine's long hair is gorgeous and you get to see that because it's not always tied up into a ponytail.

Victoria has great hair long and shinny, she shouldn't wear a ponytail so often, God forbid she's practising her own version of helmet hair:eek:  :D

I don't like mabel's hair.. it's looking dry and when she is pulling it back to strait it maker her skinny and boney in her face..
