her hairdo was just so 70s-like! When I see this Picture of have to think about the Boney M and Abba Fashion.

I like Beatrix dark blue dress! the lady on the right side looks like wearing a sack. I like Sonja's dress, but her hairdo was terrible.. I know: it was "in".. but I don't like it anyway.

In a lot of the pictures above I feel that while the gowns were formal, they were not as formal as I feel that many of them are now.
But I also think that might just be because of what I am used to.
Does anyone else feel similarly???
