Flirty Blue Frills Dress worn by Charlize Theron to Academy Awards, 2005, by John Galliano for Dior Couture. I love this dress, especcially on MM- it's so pretty! And so perfect for her.

Blue Beauty Because I love Mette-Marit in pastels and soft colors, I found a lovely gown in a blue, with lavender and grey hints. Lacy, feminine, and somewhat fitted, it's what I think MM needs. Dress by Elie Saab.

Short and Sparkly If Mette-Marit went to a semi-formal event, she might need a fabulous cocktail length dress to wear. We have seen Letizia wearing gala cocktail dresses recently, and so MM might need one. It would also fit in with her more casual style, maybe- not wearing full length dresses. I just like this dress- it has great color (the soft green is stunning on her, as we know from her visit to England just prior to the birth of Sverre Magnus), a touch of bling to make her stand out and look special (and this way she doesn't have to wear much jewellery), and is just a great cut for her, I think. Crown Princess Mary of Denmark: a gorgeous red gown worn by Cate Blanchett at the 2004 Golden Globes, designed by Donna Karan. I love this deep red on Mary, with her creamy complexion and dark hair.

Crown Princess Maxima of the Netherlands: I was inspired to put this dress on Maxima by the conversations in the "Royals in Purple" thread, talking about the wonderful dress she wore to the wedding of CP Felipe and Letizia. This gown was worn by Catherine Zeta-Jones to the 2003 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, when she was nominated for Chicago, and expecting her daughter, Carys. I liked it on her, and I love it on Maxima.

Crown Princess Mathilde of Belgium: I know Mathilde isn't pregnant, but I kind of think she will have another baby, (at least I hope she will), and here is a dress I think she should wear. She has great legs, so she would be able to carry it off.

Princess Haya
Something interesting for Haya- bright aqua dress by Elie Saab. Her skin tone and coloring can handle a bright color, and the yellow undertones in her skin make her perfect for this bright turquois-y aqua tone. (I know she is an Islamic princess, and that this dress is not as covered up as she probably is supposed to be, but it is pretty, so I don't care. She can cover it up herself. so boo.)​

A day look for Mette-Marit

She often wears blah or uninteresting clothing, (although appropriate), and I decided she needs some zing. So here it is- a stunning teal blue coat outfit with knee high boots. She is still covered enough to be proper, and it is not so crazy as to be really inappropriate for her daily visits. But it's also sexy and fun.

*edit- the white dress I was thinking of was for the Golden Globes. I think you mean that pretty burgundy one-shoulder dress. I'm looking for a good image. But I think it's a definate Mary dress for me!
