The Royal Order of Sartorial Splendor: Flashback Friday: Victoria at the Nobel Prize Ceremony

All of Victoria's gowns are stunning.Minus 2007.I am not a fan of tie die.The 2000 dress was nice but not my favorite.Her first dress is a suprise favorite for me.It was very nice for her age and I love red!

Don't really have a lot of favorites here. My favorites are that amazing red dress in 2002, and that gorgeous dress in 2005. That dress in 2000 is also beautiful. The worst dress is that green dress in 2009. The other dresses are nothing special to me.

Nice collection of photo's,the Nobel Prize Ceremony is one my favourite Royal events.

My top choice would be the 2002 gown. Elaborate, but she carries it off.

Queen Silvia has had a lot of stunning gowns but of course she's had a lot of awful ones as well! Here are the ones I really dislike:

I think the worst are the ones with the poofy sleeves like in pictures 3 and 4. I also don't like number 12. The others are ok, some more, some less
I think she looked especially beautiful in picture 1, wasn't this her first Nobel prize?

The big sleeves of the late 80's/early 90s were v fashionable and look great for that time. She has wonderful style.

My favorite is Victoria's dress followed by Madeleine. Both were elegant and beautiful in it's simplicity. I love the color of Silvia's first dress but not the design. Of course it's very dated.

I very much agree with you on Crown Princess Victoria and that red gown, she was just stunning and every inch a queen. Sweden is so very lucky to have her for she and her husband work very hard for their country.
