Default moroccan designers:caftan 2002

Amina Benmoussa:

The tradition with the glares:

Between judiciously diverted traditional line and sets of matters added such as feathers, spangles, Amina Benmoussa creates an extremely ludic effect chatoyant where the colors spout out de.toutes.parts. Silky texture, plays of tulle and discrete embroideries, Caftan d' Amina Benmoussa draws its inspiration in a vivifying pallet and nevertheless decorated of a beautiful whole of traditional lines. For his first participation in Caftan, the designer, initially graduate of the Boulle School, affixes a signature removed and blazing.

1-Caftan two pieces: above variegated and falls of straws, below in white taffeta. Stole in multi-coloured muslin. Plated belt gold.

2-Caftan white broken embroidered, lace trousers, and shirt maker. Girdle out of satin duchess. Stole in taffeta.

3-Caftan two pieces with black and white feathers, white trousers half-compartment with the laser and shirt maker. Stole in black and white raffia.

dazzling spirit haute couture!

Sumptuous set of volumes and details embroidered for the collection of the designer High-Seam who, this year still, inflects the caftan towards a mixing between evening dress and traditional clothing, thus marking his recognizable signature between thousand. Between caftans juponnés, transparencies and incrustations of pearls and crystal spangles learnedly exploited, the parts of Albert Oiknine touch end of the fingers a rare universe where the spectacular one and the traditional one is côtoient with happiness. Splendid.

As far as i know , there are tailors at The palaces who make Caftan for the princesses , it's like a factory ,they're working every day to fix all the dresses , it's a full time job for them , also there is a specific Cut and Seam (Couture) The name is MAKHZANIA, wich means in Moroccan everything related to the royal family, Power
as u can see in those pictures , the specific tissues and the seams around the neck ( GOLD OR SILVER ) is what it called Caftan Makhzani :)

Moroccan designer brings caftan couture to Paris" A top model shows 30 June 2005 a handcrafted caftan created by Morocco's Zhor Rais for the haute couture Autun-winter 2005-2006. When haute couture week begins in Paris 06 July 2005, Morocco's Zhor Rais is hoping to earn a little fashion respect for her homeland with her handcrafted caftans, and show that traditional garments can be modern.

ahh...those are definately pakistani inspired, the kurtis and the very popular chunri cloth. They make everything out of it in the west, even skirts, which is so odd to me.

this looks like the caftans Queen Noor wears
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/fashion/g...ixkaftan11.jpg
But the cloth is chunri, something that's worn in Pakistan and India, nothing to do with the middle east. Still, fashion's all about fusion.
