Queen Rania's Daytime fashion
Post any photos of outfits that you would like to see Queen Rania wearing this season (or past seasons - perhaps try the vintage look!)
Everyone has different tastes, so it would be interesting to see what we all come up with
I will start with these beauties. Queen Rania has worn dresses by Alberta Ferretti before, so I thought I'd go to her latest collection first:

Are we talking about first ladies who should care more about their role or more about their look. Do not say that i want first ladies not to dress nicely...but there are some first ladies who just over do it in terms of wearing VERY EXPENSIVE DESIGNER CLOTHES over and over again. Although i enjoy seeing those clothes, i feel not impressed by the first ladies wearing them and do not have high esteem for those ladies who care less about their own poor people but for themselves, they want to be number one in every thing and be the center of attention by all means. This is my opinion that reflects my code of ethics that takes into account the royal families and whom they are supposed to serve. So it is the whole picture that interests me and not solely A royal family as if it exists in a vacuum. Again this is my opinion for this thread. You do not have to turn my opinion into debate. Just enjoy posting pictures of models and praising queens acting like these models..

I found it a bit difficult too, but fun. I tried looking for things that are a bit conservative. I've also noticed that this season's skirts and dresses are very short, they come up to thighs at most designers' collections. After years of below the knee lenghts, things are changing :)

Okay here are some of my examples.
I chose pictures of Spring/Summer & Fall 2005 collections since Rania is most likely to wear the latest designs.

1 & 2. Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2005- Both dresses have an emphasis on the waist that Rania seems to like
3. Chado Ralph Rucci Sping 2005
4. Reem Acra Couture Spring 2005- I know Rania doesnt wear something this flowery very often, but I'd love to see her in it!

I like these a lot. They are so feminine and would suit Queen Rania to a tee! She's worn Ralph Lauren in the past, notably 2001.
Great finds, Humera :)

I too would love to see her in something like the Reem Acra dress. Again it's very feminine. Love the emboidery!

Elie Saab is one of Rania's favourite designers. But most of his dresses she has worn have been of dark shades like deep red, burgundy, green.
I love the bright shades and pastels in Elie Saab's latest collections. They remind me of cotton candy. I'd love to see Rania wearing such cheerful colours.

Ralph Rucci's collections seem to have a sober, sophisticated look to them. The whites, greys, browns are all shades Rania wears a lot.

Nice pictures Balqis. I love the Dolce & Gabbana bags. They'd go great with some of the Elie Saab dresses!
Some shoes...I dont know how Rania manages to wear those heels. I know I'd fall and break my foot and neck if I wore shoes like that.

OK, I've seen photos of QR in high heels and agree: How does she wear them yet walk so gracefully while keeping them on for hours at a time????? I know I couldn't carry it off!
All these photos are gorgeous. She does seem to favor darker colors, so pastels on her would be sooo pretty. Has she ever said anything about what prompts her choices in style and why she does seem to favor blacks, greys and browns? I'd be interested as she has the coloring to carry off so many more vivid colors in her attire.
Thank you all! Great thread, Balqis!
