It is often said that royal men are better dressed than women.
This happens perhaps because in men's formal clothes very few details can be changed. A woman dress can be much more extravagant.

We were talking about the Duke's overcoats, so I'm beginnig from his Christmas (and all-winter) overcoats.

The awful brown one:
1) 1985
2) 1992
3) 1994
4) 1998
5) 2003
2004 (not seen here)

The green one:
6) 1995
7) 1996
8) 1997
9) 2002

I forgot to say that he has also a black one, which, for instance, wore both at Princess Margaret and Princess Alice's funerals.
I think he needs to substitute one or two of them.

I usually own only one coat which I wear for several years too, because I can't allow to buy it often. But not 20 years. (However I'm only 24, so it's a bit different matter: 20 years ago I was only 4).
