The wedding of the Crown Prince of Denmark was the event that interested me in royalty, and since then I have watched many others after they happened. I did watch Prince Joachim of Denmark's second marriage live, as well as the Crown Princess of Sweden's live (and in a very difficult time zone). And of course, I watched the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Well strip me of my Royal Fan Card now!

I live in Australia where, as far as I've noticed, the only Royal Weddings shown are British ones (Frederick's and Mary's was a well) so obviously this limits the number of ones I can see live. My age (I was born in 1989) has also kept my number down. The result is that William's and Catherine's Wedding is the only one I have seen live (although I have seen clips from various others) I was too young to even know what Royalty was when Anne and Tim wed, was too young to take much of an interest when Edward and Sophie wed (I was a Princessy Girl, but I found real Royals "boring"), and as for Frederick's and Mary's Wedding, I was aware of it (It was massive here, as you can imagine) but I was going through a big anti hype stage. I was in an all Girls High School, so I was really getting more exposure to it than I would tolerate (I was such a ), and as an act of rebellion, I didn't watch it. Teenage stupidity is also the reason I didn't watch Charles's and Camilla's Wedding. I didn't want to watch it because I considered them to be old, ugly, and responsible for everything that ever went wrong in Diana's life It amazes me how much I have matured in just six years.

I can't wait until Henry gets married, although I hope he and his beloved will go at the pace that is right for them
