From the Emanuel's book on the wedding ensemble 'A Dress for Diana', in the chapter The Shoes, page 123 "The heels needed to be very low because Diana was so tall".

From the lips of Prince Phillip at the time "At least she will breed some height into the line".

Also in the famous engagement pic, Diana had to stand one step down to make Charles look taller.

Until the separation, Diana always appeared in flat, or close to it, shoes. After the separation, she often wore heels. So, back OT...those are not the correct shoes.

My only favorite here is Muna's shoes. I don't like the rest them especially Princess Noor and Princess Rym's shoes.

From what I can see, I really dislike Queen Rania's shoes.

it's such a pity that sometimes we can't see them during the wedding because of the dress covering them!

Some are really beautiful and matching! Other are just hideous IMO

I've never seen Stephanie's bridal shoes before. They were just as beautiful as her gown..exquisite!, and they match perfectly.

I am not a "shoe girl", when it comes to brides it's the last thing I notice. But of the ones I've seen so far I love Kate and Stephanie's.

I think I might like Claire's, but I would have to see another picture of them.

I think CP Victoria's shoes were one of the best and most complimentary shoe/dress combination around. The ice white with crystal buckles is near a perfect match with that dress.

In case anyone was wondering, the beautiful lace trim is, of course, not from her dress but her petticoat.

Victoria's shoes were from designer Roger Vivier and were just high enough to be elegant and low enough to dance all night. The beautiful arch in the instep shows a very stable and comfortable shoe.

Many of the bridal shoes worn by royal brides seem to be absolute works of art, but just looking at them and thinking 10 hours plus actually wearing them . . . my feet hurt just looking at them all.

MARG, I was thinking the same, especially the ones with very high heels like Madeleine's!

She is sitting in that photo from the honeymoon, while Charles is standing.

Princess Madeleine of Sweden's shoes were ivory white organdy with woven point d'esprit dots.
