That dress is stunning, white maybe for Madeline.

I’d love to see Madeline in a wedding dress that is more romantic and full and embellished…in a traditional fairytale princess gown. Whereas, I’d like Victoria to wear a gown that is more refined and simple and sophisticated…a striking regal classic.

In may 2009 one of the Swedish newspapers (Svenska Dagbladet) askd 6 Swedish designers to draw a wedding dress for Victoria... here they are:
(Swedish) Vita drömmar | Kulturnyheter | SvD
(translation) Google Översätt

but I dont think they are regal enough for Victoria... maybe Lovisa Burfitts for Madeleine?

The last one would be amazing on Madeleine.

Looks a little Katie Price (UK). In other words, just a little trashy for Victoria. Refined and elegant would be the style she needs.

and for Victoria:

Very elegant, but when you factor in the obligatory Cameo Tiara and lace veil it would be way over the top.

I'd like to see not just Victoria and Madeleine but any bride wearing a traditional, fairy-tale wedding dress with a long train and veil, with the veil covering her face as she walks to the altar, and not low down at the back of her head as seems to be the fashion these days.

In Sweden brides never cover their face by the veil... and I dont understand why they are doing it in other countries... Can someone help me to explain that tradition?

Costura New Wedding Collection: wedding dresses and bridal accessories thought this design would be quite nice for Victoria - simple, elegant and very appropiate for a future Queen with a reserved neckline

A few others that are quite nice

That's an amazing design and I would be the least bit surprised if Victoria wears something along those lines.

Oh my gosh, I could have written this myself. The veil doesn't necessarily have to cover the face for me (although I do think it gives a beautiful sight to look at), but for the rest I agree with everything.

It stems from ages back when the man was not supposed to see the face of his bride before the wedding and he was to lift the veil after having said 'Yes'/'I do'/'I will'/whatever custom. Marrying people off was how it worked back in the day and by covering the bride's face the groom could not flee beforehand if he didn't like how she looked.

Royal Wedding Gowns for Future Royal Brides

Who do you think will design the wedding gowns of future royal brides, like Charlene Wittstock
