Royal Wedding Bouquets

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Thot the gold flower bouquet of CP Sarah of Brunei is the same bouquet that her sister-in-law, Princess Rashidah has when she got married in 1996.

Elena´s church bouquet looks really nice -I like a bit of colour! If I remember correctly, just prior to her wedding Mette-Marit did a photo shoot, where she was wearing a black dress and also had a similar bouquet of flowers to her wedding ones - this photo shoot appeared in Hello - does anyone have pictures from this shoot?

I personally loved the bouquets of Mette Marit, Letitzia (is that how you spell it?), Princess Sibillia, Tessy Anthony, Princess Martha Louise, Princess Anita and Princess Aimee. I didnt really love the bouquets of Maxima, Mary, Mathilde or Laurentien (and may be Annette and Marilene, but I'm partial to them), mainly because they were too much green and white, expecially mathilde. and the snow gum idea with mary's bouquet was a nice idea, but the result looked kind of wierd, but thats just my opinion.

Maxima should have carried a bouquet made out of tulips! :flowers:

All different

It was nice to see all the different wedding bouquets and all the dresses as well.

by looking at the individual flowers and the color, they look kind of like hydrangeas, but they aren't in clusters like hydrangeas are.
Maybe someone more botanically-minded can answer?

I wonder, are royal ladies doing their wedding bouquets like it is with the present flower fashion?
Or maybe they creating wedd-bouquets fashion?

Lady Davina's wedding bouquet.
I have seen a very vivid blue sweet pea, a flower that some brides love because of the sweet smell and paper like appearance. They, apparently, were used in bouquets, (many years ago) as a cheaper alternative to the more expensive roses because they had a lovely smell and they looked pretty.

I don't think Claire was pregnant when the wedding took place. The couple were married in April and they had the baby in February. That's more than 9months. She probably conceived within 2-3 months of her marriage.

I think you will find they have been married for quite a while (maybe five years) and they have only just had their first child - a son.

mary's wedding bouquet was unusual but it perfectly reflected her roots but mette-marit's was very stange

They look like Iris' to me.

I love flowers but have never been fond of all-white ones. Colored flowers look so nice against a white dress.

I agree - the different shades of white of the flowers always clashes with the white color of the gown and veil and the whole effect is just blinding - the only spot of color is the face of the bride. Too much white in too many shades of white -

RE: Mette-Marit's gown and flowers - I loved both. The gown was exquisite - very modern and very stark - clean lines - not frou-frou
it fit her like a glove.
The bouquet (?) was modern and fit the lines of the gown.
The whole outfit was fabulous.

Wow...I love Claire's bouquet...very beautiful.

Although Marie Cavallier's bouquet was beautifull, it didn't go well with the dress imho. The flowers were very modern and compact, her dress was very romantic and traditional.

I think you missed some news :)
Claire and Laurent had a daughter Louise in February 2004 and twin sons, Nicolas and Aymeric in December 2005.

Anyway. Here's the website of the designer of the wedding bouquet of Mathilde (don't know if he did Claire's as well): Daniel Ost

My personal favourite is Mette-Marit's bouquet.

So many stunning wedding bouquets!
In no particular order, I like the bouquets of...
Letizia - it was soft and feminine,
Crown Princess Mary - it was unique yet classical and elegant,
Lady Tamara Grosvenor - for its delicate elegance,
Marie Chantal - it was quaint (but a little too small),
Lady Sarah Chatto - this bouquet alluded 'country charm,'
Sophie of Bavaria - simple but still lovely, and
Sabilla of Luxemberg - her bouquet was a work of art.
