I'm sure that if the colours had been different, the bridesmaid dresses would have come out better, but I totally get that blue and orange are the colours of the house of Nassau and think that it's a fine detail, it didn't really work though.
I really liked Catherine's simple bridesmaid dresses.

For me, Lady Louise Windsor will always be my favourite/cutest bridesmaid. Grace Van Cutsem is a close second.

I think that in the Louxembourg wedding they wanted a bridal party a la Felipe&Letizia, with the historical air, but the result was considerably worse.
Caprile did an amazing job with Letizia bridal party, the design was exquisite and every detail was so delicate. The Louxembourg kids´outfit looked too much like a cheap costume, mainly because of the heavy fabric, and it´s obvious that the designer didn´t pay so much attention to the little details, which I think it´s the key to do a fine job on historical dresses and wich made Caprile´s dresses so amazing and elegant.
I´m quite surprised that so many people disliked the adults bridesmaids dresses, I loved it, both colour and design, though it wasn´t an easy dress to wear for Alexandra, I agree. Stephanie´s niece looked very nice, though (I also think that her dress was nicer thatn Alex´s)

Did the spanish wedding have any adult attendants?
Adult attendants are very hard which is why I prefer the European tradition of children only.
I do remember loving the absolutely beautiful outfits they had on in Spain.
I always love any children/historical theme, like Vicotria had, or even Sarah ferguson with William as a little sailor boy.
I think the Luxembourg children were gorgeous, the girls' hair was very good, but if Natan did them, they must have been slipshod as you say

Letizia had two bridesmaids, but they weren´t adults, but teens (around 15/16 years old, I guess). They were also dressed by Caprile:

Ive read several times that the historical dresseing was too much for teens, but I just love those dressed, I wouldn´t mind wearing one of these for a wedding if they forced me

I wonder if anyone knows if Princess Caroline was a bridesmaid when she was a young girl? Princess Stephanie was a bridesmaid to her older sister on her first marriage and Howell Conant captured some funny pics of Grace having to reprimand her during the wedding rehearsal.

I seem to recall reading that Stephanie wasn't keen on her outfit!

For me, Lady Louise (along with Grace) stole the show. The former had such energy and was literally jumping out of her skin on the balcony, and the latter had facial expressions that rival those of skilled actors. Louise strikes me as a young lady with a big character, and I love seeing her at various royal events.

I thought little Eliza Lopes was absolutely adorable at William and Kate's wedding.
Really loved the moment Prince Charles lifter her up to allow her a better view of the square.

Eliza was very precious as well. I loved her serious face.

I think the worst dressed bridesmaids were at the wedding of Tatiana and Nicholas in Greece. They looked like showgirls in a small casino in Atlantic City, not good enough for Vegas. It was the perfect example of brides making their bridemaids look horrid in order to make themselves look better.

I have to agree. I'd love to have been able to eavesdrop on that moment when the bridesmaids had their first look at their showgirl gowns.

Sarah Chatto's bridesmaids are the best dressed maids ever. I don't think anyone can beat them. Having said that lady Sarah Chatto had the most beautiful weddingdress I have ever seen, still after all those years.

Unless they were actually showgirls they probably thought it was some sort of bridal shower joke and kept looking around waiting for the couture to be revealed.

I agree, even though I think their dresses were a bit too close in style to the wedding dress, they were absolutely gorgeous. Sarah's wedding dress is also one of my favourite wedding dresses, it's suits her perfectly and she looked absolutely breathtaking.

Maybe they were waiting for Ashton Kutcher and MTV's "Punked" crew to show up?

I am in agreement with Daria at how adorable Lady Louise was as a bridesmaid. For her first big moment in the limelight as part of the Royal family, she was delightful. The clips of her on the balcony waving were so cute, and it looked as though she was talking to little Grace too at some points. Very adorable. Louise just comes across as a little character with bundles of energy, as does her brother. Edward and Sophie obviously have their work cut out for them, particularly with James.
Eliza Lopes was beautiful at the wedding, her little waves from the car as she, Grace and Pippa made their way to the Abbey were adorable. I loved the end when the Page's took Grace and Eliza's hands and walked out of the Abbey with them.
I loved the shoes from Catherine's bridesmaids, they were lovely. Rainbow (the make of shoe) are popular among bridesmaids in Britain so it was lovely to see the girls wearing them. I also thought it was lovely that the designers sewed the names of the girls into their dresses, as well as the date of the wedding, for memory keepsake. In years to come we will no doubt have an interview from Louise or Margarita of them holding their dress and showing us their name in the dress, just as India Hicks has done when she was bridesmaid for Diana.
