I loved the dress- it was simple and elegant the same time. Maybe it wasn't that "extravagant", but very beautiful. I loved the veil!
I agree! Simple and elegant at the same time, and I love her veil too, and her tiara.

I would go for Princess Mette-Marit's wedding dress. She looked so gracious on it. Very elegant.

My second choise: Princess Christina from Spain.

My choice number one: Mette-Marit's dress that was simple & elegant dress.
Next would be CP Mary of Denmark, traditional and feminine.

mette marit's dress was a dream. the perfection of the cut was amazing and it was so simple and elegant. a true classic. it would be my first choice.

maxima's is second. from the previous generation, i thought queen margrethe was a lovely bride.

make up: princess anita. it was perfect for her and looked lovely.

I'd probably choose among Mette-Marits, Aimee's or Queen Elizabeth's gowns. All 3 looked stunning.

The almost perfect wedding dress for me comes from Queen Elizabeth's wedding, but it's not her wedding gown. I'm positively in love with the dresses her bridesmaids wore. You can see the dress here.

(or all three, one for the civil wedding, one for the church and one for the party
Hi Everyone,
I am new to the site and having found this thread I would like to participate too. This is such a lovely subject......
I would love a Gown that is a unique combination of a lot of Royal Gowns. I LOVE the full skirt on Princess Margaret's Gown, but even fuller and hooped like a Crinoline and in Satin; also a Long Circular Royal train as seen on several of the past Spanish Royal Brides, but at least as long as Maxima's train. Then I just loved Maxima's veil, which was just Divine. And perhaps, if it was a winter wedding, I would also love a Royal Fur trimmed Mantle/Cloak, preferably also with a long train...... Well, that's Me!
I am not sure about the Tiara yet....

I love your idea of wearing 3 different Gowns for three different Gowns for three occasions!!! Good idea....! We Ladies should maximize our opportunities...
