I missed this announcement of the date and venue. Are they getting married in Crathie Church?

The Sottero "Mona" style would beautiful as a ballgown and the Valentino is exquisite with the petal skirt. Her down-to-earthness may lead her to a wedding suit, but probably not. Most brides want fairy-tale wedding photos and a suit won't give that.

She might wear her mother's wedding gown, which is spectacular, if it is still in good shape. I loved the PR's wedding gown.

I love this Dior dress. It should be in white and with a silk bolero.
And it's vintage.....

I do think Zara needs some sort of sleeve. Not long sleeves thank you very much, we've seen those, they're ugly.
I'm interested to see which designer she'll take. Maybe Oscar de la Renta?

I think Zara should avoid sleeveless as her upper arms are a bit chunky.

Hmm, both lovely but I think updo's look too hard, ageing and severe.

I prefer the first dress out of these two. The lace is exquisite.

I'm enjoying all of these suggestions. Keep them coming ladies . . .

These are all lovely but I particularly like the first and third of these suggestions.

I thought someone referenced a wedding gown based on a riding habit. Singer Karen Carpenter's gown was designed as such. I would suggest a bridal veil instead of the hat.

Whatever style Zara chooses I can pretty well bet it will NOT be strapless.

If her stint as chief Bridesmaid at her brother's wedding taught her anything at all it is that no matter how much concealer or fake tan is used, bra or swimsuit lines are virtually impossible to get rid of.

Not a good look!

I know right!

Zara seems to have such a fun personality, I hope she get's to balanced that out with her dress, not forgetting some traditions.
Will she wear a tiara? what about the Fringe? her mom and grandmother wore it so I think it would be a nice continuity

I did, mgrant. I think such a dress would look good on Zara as she's a keen horsewoman.

Her Mum and Grandmother might have worn it but they were also both HRH Princess xxx and the eldest daughter of the reigning monarch at the time of their weddings.

As Zara isn't royal (according to her mother) and isn't a Princess I think a lower key headpiece is called for.

I'm not sure I agree with you on this one, Iluvbertie. OK so Zara's mother and grandmother were the oldest (or only) daughters of reigning monarchs at the time of their weddings but Zara IS royal, even though she doesn't bear any title. If she wants to wear that tiara for her wedding day then I think she should go for it.
