Princess visiting ITB 2007
Thai Airways International Public Company Limited will join ITB Berlin 2007, the world’s largest travel trade show during 7-11 March 2007. On this occasion, HRH Princess Ubolratana will represent the people and government of Thailand in inviting people from all over the world to Thailand and visit the Thai Pavillion at the event, which will include THAI’s promotional booth. THAI believes that ITB Berlin offers the airline an exceptional platform to promote ‘Thainess’ to the world and will allow visitors to learn more about the airline’s products and services. Also to attend the event are H.E. Dr. Suvit Yodmanee, Thailand’s Minister of Tourism and Sports, Mr. Wallop Bhukkanasut, THAI’s Executive Vice President, Commercial and Mrs. Phornsiri Manoharn, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
THAI and TAT will hold a joint press conference, under the theme, “Amazing Thailand” on March 9th, 2007 in order to announce Thailand’s tourism promotions and updates on special activities throughout the year.

Princess Ubolratana's film Nueng Jai Deaw Kan (Where The Miracle Happens) is to be released in local cinemas in early August, to mark national Mothers' Day. The princess had a hand in writing the script for the film which is based on her book Rueng San Tee Chan Kit, and stars in the 70-million-baht production.

Eventhough she regain her title back after her divorce, but did the king ban her ex-husband (Peter Ladd Jensen) from the country? and from going to his son funural? just wonder that all.

Under the current palace law of succession (B.E. 2467) does allow woman to rule the country but she'll never be addressed as queen.
Constitution of Kingdom of Thailand – Chapter ll – The King
Section 23. In the case where the Throne becomes vacant and the King has already appointed His Heir to the Throne under the Palace Law on Succession, B.E. 2467, the Council of Ministers shall notify the President of the National Assembly. The President of the National Assembly shall convoke the National Assembly for the acknowledgement thereof, and the President of the National Assembly shall invite such Heir to ascend the Throne and proclaim such Heir King.
In the case where the Throne becomes vacant and the King has not appointed His Heir under paragraph one, the Privy Council shall submit the name of the Successor to the Throne under section 22 to the Council of Ministers for further submission to the National Assembly for approval. For this purpose, the name of a Princess may be submitted. Upon the approval of the National Assembly, the President of the National Assembly shall invite such Successor to ascend the Throne and proclaim such Successor King.
During the expiration of the term of the House of Representatives or the dissolution thereof, the Senate shall act as the National Assembly in acknowledging the matter under paragraph one or in giving an approval under paragraph two.

so sorry for this super late reply. i was absent from this forum for years. been busy with school and all that.
first of all, the princess has NOT regained her royal title even though she's been living in Thailand for a number of years. but yes, she is recognised as a princess by Thai people but technically she's not. her ex-husband was allowed to come to the funeral of Khun Bhumi (Poom). and yes, he was at the funeral.
