Picture of the Year - 2006
In recognition of our first year of the Picture of the Month competition, The Royal Forum team brings you the first annual Picture of the Year competition for 2006.
These pictures were selected by you as the best of each month in 2006 and reflect your favorite Pictures from the months of January through December 2006.
Many many thanks to the Picture of the Month committees who chose the nominations for each of the Picture of the Month selections.
This poll will be open for three (3) weeks and will close March 1.
Now it's time to pick your absolute favorite Picture of 2006. Will it be....?

APRIL – SWEDEN

On the night the 60th Birthday of their father, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Carl Philip, and Princess Madeleine poses with their fellow young European royals at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. The King's birthday are celebrated with a private dinner at Drottningholm Palace, te deum, military tribute, government luncheon, and finally, a gala dinner.

Though it's certainly the hardest poll ever, I had suprisingly easy choice. I mean once I refreshed my memory of all these pictures, I knew exactly which one is the most special for me.

All the photos are wonderful..Really. And it was hard to pick only one, as ever. But at least, I knew which one was really special for me. Of course, I believe we all here choice a pic for very personal reasons, and that all of them desereves to win.

Great pics. Some royal families appear several times in these pictures. Is it first time when we can choose pic of the year? I don't remember pic of the year fot the year 2005.
I've chosen a pic that I think is the most "royal".

maybe it's me who cant find it but isnt a similar post not being held for 2007? i mean there should have been a jan one, we are almost in march. i hope this poll resumes for the current year

Hey nokklav. There was no january Poll yet, because of the Re-organization of the Picture-of-the Month Poll.
