Lady Jennifer: "Seeing Albert do a
Charity Christmas bathing in Monaco, December 24 2006. It collects money for Thai Children."

kwanfan: "One of my favorite events of 2006 was the celebration of the 100th anniversary of King Haakon and Queen Maud's coronation in Norway. It was a wonderful week. We saw the whole Norwegian Royal Family. I also enjoyed
this photo showing the current and two future Norwegian monarchs."
Elspeth: "I think my most vivid memory is the total non-surprise of just about everyone following the announcement that Princess Kiko had given birth to a boy."
Marengo: "For me the most special royal moment of 2006 was the reburial of Empress Maria Feodorovna of Russia. Over the years I have read many books on the Romanovs and have taken a special interest in maria. With the fulfilment of her last wish it seems that the last Romanov chapter is finally closed.
I was impressed by the dignified way the Danish Queen arranged the reburial."
suturegeisha: "I would definitely say my favorite memory of 2006 was the wedding of Prince Louis of Luxembourg, which was IMO very sweet and tasteful. And my favorite moment of that event was
this. How darling!

purple_platinum: "The thing i remember most of 2006 is the Thai Diamond Jubilee celebrations. I don't know what happen but everytime i see its pictures & stories, i get chills. It's not just the gala or the glitter, but the whole week. When the Thai people in thousands wore the yellow clour & greet the King. then the arrival of foreign royals where each one of them are treated personally, until their departure."
Avalon: "The most memorable for me in 2006 was the public acceptance of The Duchess of Cornwall and the way she become inseparable part of the British Royal Family.
The year 2006 was rich with interesting and exiting events, but my other two most vivid memories of the year would be Queen Elizabeth’s Birthday Celebrations and the Reburial of Empress Maria Feodorovna."
