Informal Poll Volunteers

Hello Everyone -

As always we are in need of your assistance.

It appears that our two informal polls this year have been a resounding success! So in that vein we have decided to continue with them for the rest of the year as follows:

April 2008
Favorite Holiday Photo
- (Must show an official Holiday in that royals country. For the period of Novemebr 2007- January 2008. Must not have been used in a previous poll. By national holiday we mean any holiday that is celebrated by the majority of the country, or is a national bank holiday. We have excluded vacations as not every country releases these nice informal photos.)

May 2008
Favorite Royal Jewel - Should be on a person if at all possible. The Jewel should be large enough to make out, and should include a description so that people may find other images on the web if they so desire. (The images should be from 2007 or before.)


July 2008
Favorite 8Childrens photo (This should be a candid, not a posed photo. This can also be of children who are now adults. There is not time limit on this with the exception that it should have occured priort to 2007)

August 2008
Favorite Royal Residence (Past or Present)


September 2008
Royal Vacations Photos ( Covering the period of August 2007 - August 2008)


November 2008
Photo Montage - Create a montage of photos from your royals, and see what you come upwith! Everything is acceptable in this montage as long as it clears all rules of respectability and the rules of the forums.

All photos for the established teams will be chosen by the teams that submit photos for those teams for the formal polls.

Where we need your help is with the non-reigning or princely families. We would really like to showcase as many of the families that we can, as we do not always get to see these families. Some of the families, but not all are as follows:

Thank you for your suggestion Seraphine. Unfortunately we have already set out the schedule for this year, and are only looking for volunteers to help with those polls already set.

Also, we only have polls with photos of places/people, and as such, I do not think that we will be able to use this idea for a Picture of the Month poll.

If you are interested in a poll of the royal family websites, please PM one of the Royal Chit Chat moderators with your request, and we can look at it there.
