Blood Drive: Queen Rania donates blood at the King Hussein Medical Center. The Queen and her husband, along with thousands of Jordanians, donated blood as part of a campaign in support of Palestinians.
Thousands of blood units have already been delivered to Gaza according to the Kingdom’s National Blood Bank.
In an opinion piece, which ran in several Arabic newspapers, Queen Rania urged citizens to “give assistance to the children, the mothers, the young and the old . . . to people who are struggling for their right to live”. The Queen’s Jordan River Foundation is also running a national campaign to collect funds and help the victims in Gaza.
