Article from HELLO
The ongoing debate over whether Japan's Princess Aiko will one day become Empress seemed a million miles away when the youngster was snapped hand-in-hand with her father this week. Even the rainy weather did little to dampen her spirits as the four-year-old, with an umbrella clasped firmly in her other hand, strolled up the pathway of Gakushuin Kindergarten in Tokyo........................

That was lovely! I need to see it again as there were many pauses (trouble with my connection, I think). Yes, Empress Michico was truly gorgeous and elegant!

Many thanks, poppy!:)

Mandyy -- that last photo of little Aiko just beaming with anticipation as her father arrives home from, I think, the water summit in Mexico is one of my all time favorite pictures. Although photos of a joyous little girl emerge from time to time, they are rare enough that I thoroughly enjoy seeing them when they do show. Thanks for these adorable pictures.
