The kings of Spain will begin a State Visit to Jordan from 24th to 26th of April

24 of April
After receiving the decree honors in the Airport of Barajas, Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía will start off for Jordan in the morning of day 24, being predicted their arrival to first now of afternoon in the Airport Queen Alia de Amman. After being received, they will go to the Palace of Al Humar, where the ceremony of official welcome will take place.
Next, an encounter deprived between the Kings of Spain and Jordan will be celebrated in the Beit al Urdum Palace.
Once finalized, they will go to the residence of the ambassador of Spain in Jordan to offer a reception to the Spanish colectivity.
The activities of the first day will conclude in full dress with a supper in honor of Their Majestys in the Palace of Basman.

25 of April
Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía will begin their activities in the Mausoleum, rendering a tribute to the previous Kings of Jordan (Hussein I, Abdullah I and Talal).
Next, the Kings will move to the seat of the Parliament, where the Senate Presidents of and House of Representatives will be with, in addition to with its members.
Once finalized, His Majesty the King will go to the Hotel Grand Hyatt to inaugurate the Enterprise Forum Hispanic Jordanian. Parallelly, Her Majesty the Queen will visit the Center Queen Rania of Jordan and Family, and the Foundation Jordán River.
Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía will go later to the residence of Prime minister of Jordan, that will offer a lunch in their honor.
Already in the evening, the Kings will inaugurate in the National Gallery a exhibition of Jose Maria Sicily, and will visit the source located in the outside, donated by the Provincial Delegation of Granada. Later, they will be transferred to the Ciudadela (project of restoration of Spanish Cooperation), with which the stage in the Jordanian capital of Visita of State will finalize, since they will start off for Aqaba.

His Majesty the King will attend with His Majesty the King from Jordan a tactical exercise in charge of the Special Forces in the training camp of A the Humaymah.
Once concluded, Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía will be transferred to the seat of the Authority of Special the Economic Zone of Aqaba (ASEZA), and will visit one of their initiatives, the urbanization Bay Cutting.
After this activity Their Majestys went to the Airport of Aqaba to divide for Qatar, finalizing Visita from State Jordan.

Spain grants the Necklace and the Great Cross of Carlos III to Kings Abdalá and Rania of Jordan

The Cabinet today approved the concession of the Necklace and the Great Cross of Carlos III to the Kings of Jordan, Abdalá II and Rania, in the occasion of the visit of State of Its Majestys, Juan Carlos and Sofía, to the hachemí Kingdom the next week.
In particular, it was approved a Real Decree by which the Necklace of the Real one is granted and Distinguished Spanish Order of Carlos III to Abdalá His Majesty the King, as well as a Real Decree by whom the Great Cross of the Real one is granted and Distinguished Spanish Order of Carlos III to Rania Her Majesty the Queen.

The Kings today initiate an official visit of four days by Jordan and Qatar´.

The Kings of Spain today initiate a visit of State from three days to Jordan with which they want to make the Spanish support to the monarchy of Abdalá II and its process of reforms in a period of political instability for the hachemí Kingdom clear.
In the day of Wednesday they will move to Qatar in an official visit that will extend until Thursday. Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía already made visits from State to Jordan in March of 1977 and November of 1994, in both occasions with King Hussein like host. In which one talks about Qatar, Their Majestys have been in this Emirate in visit of State in November of 1980 and in official visit in October of 2003. P. Today is going to receive the Kings of Spain. The relations are very good as much between the two Real Houses like between both countries. How can Spain contribute more to Jordan and the region?

R. Spain always it has had a vital paper like part of the European Union. It has wonderful relations with all the countries of Near East, and historically very it is respected. Respect is not only [ ] politician, also has much to do with its economic solidity. We know Spain through many its products and their industry. Their Majesty time and time again, in my limited experience of last the six or seven last years years, whenever there has been a problem, is after 11-S or in the peace process, always she has contributed a moderation voice to try to smooth the intentions across, like when she was spoken of shock of civilizations, and you know that there is no such thing. His Majesty is one of those people of character who leave the common thing and try to combine people. When Jordan suffered the terrible loss of Husein His Majesty the King, the first visit of State that I did went not by chance to Spain and. I suppose that [ King Juan Carlos ] wanted to help in the transition and to help me to know people. He has always tended the hand to my country and many of the Arab countries. As result the relation of Its Majesty with the Arab World is very deep, like the Spanish policy throughout many years.

Visit of State from the kings to Jordan.

Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía has predicted to arrive at the airport Queen Alia de 15,45 Ammán to local time (14,45 hours in Spain), but will not be until shortly after when the Kings of Jordan, Abdullah and Rania, are with their Spanish guests, to those who will give to the official welcome in the Palace of A the Humar.
The main avenues of Amman and the passage from the airport to the city are engalanados from yesterday with Spanish and Jordanian flags, like gesture of welcome to the Kings.

The Kings of Spain arrived this late at the airport of Ammán to initiate his first visit from State to Jordan from the ascent to the throne of Abdalá II, with the objective to intensify the political relations and to impel enterprise projects and of cooperation.

As much Don Juan Carlos as Doña Sofía warmly greeted Princes Feisal and Alia, in a test of the brotherly relation that it unites to them to the Jordanian Royal Family.
