Prince Ali published a photo for himself with his brothers & nephew dated two days ago:

@AliBinAlHussein: With my Brothers HM King Abdullah and Prince Hamzah and my nephew Crown Prince Hussein Two days ago in Amman

This family meeting came after two controversial tweets published by Prince Hamza & prince Ali last week in which they criticize the government & its new income tax legislation. It was also attended by Prince Hashem Bin Al Hussein.

In his tweet, Prince Ali posted a short video of the television series '' The West Wing'' showing an American senator talking about taxes, arguing that the solution to improve the economy of developing countries is to reduce taxes rather than increase them.

Prince Hamzah`s words were quite sharp as he said:
@HamzahHKJ:Perhaps the beginning must be correcting the failed management approach of the public sector, serious action to combat rampant corruption, serious accountability for corrupts, rebuilding trust between citizens and the state Unless the intention is to push the country towards the abyss.

He later published another tweet in which he praised his unity with his brothers, the sons of the late King Hussein, in the service of homeland and nation.

Actually, they do have some freedom. Following is a statement issued by the royal court in 2015:
In light of the increasing use of various media outlets and social media platforms to express views and opinions, including by Royal Family members, many of whom occupy positions in international organizations and NGOs and rely on media outlets and social media tools to convey their points of view and positions, the Royal Hashemite Court asserts that any statements, opinions or comments made by Royal Family members (except official statements issued by the Royal Hashemite Court or through the media and social media channels of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II) strictly express the personal views of those individuals, as Royal Family members are entitled, like any Jordanian citizen, to express their personal opinions...

Prince Ali is currently retired from the army and does not hold any political posts, so his comment will not pose a problem.

On the contrary, Prince Hamzah's tweet has provoked widespread controversy through social media because he is still an officer in the armed forces and has no right to interfere in politics, this is despite the sensitivity of his position due to the succession issue.
