King patronizes celebration on Al Karama Battle 48th anniversary

Amman, Mar. 22 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces-Arab Army, on Monday, attended, at the Martyr's Memorial in the Southern Shuna district in the Jordan Valley, an Armed Forces celebration to mark the 48th anniversary of Al Karama Battle.

King attends King Abdullah II Fund for Development annual ceremony.
Amman, May 4 (Petra)--His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Wednesday, attended the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) annual ceremony, which was held to shed light on KAFD's achievements in 2015.

These achievements showcase KAFD's work mechanisms and role in enabling Jordanians to contribute to the construction process, by turning challenges into opportunities with a focus on projects and programs carried out by the fund.

The ceremony saw the launching of "Forus (opportunities) portal" in collaboration between KAFD, the Ministry of Labour and local and regional partners.

King opens SOFEX 2016

Amman, May10 (Petra) – His Majesty King Abdullah II, Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), Tuesday inaugurated the11th Special Operations Forces Exhibition (SOFEX) 2016.

The King was received by HRH Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, President of SOFEX Supreme Steering Committee, King’s Military Adviser and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben, Chairman of the Board of directors of King Abdullah Design and Development Bureau (KADDB), Atef Al Tal and SOFEX Director General Amer Tabbaa.

Upon arrival, an artillery unit fired a 21-gun salute welcoming King Abdullah and the national anthem was played.

I dont think so beacause it is a military hospital and supposed to be built by the army.

Amman, Jan. 12 (Petra)--A Royal Decree was issued appointing His Royal Highness Prince Hashem Bin Al Hussein as chief chamberlain as of January 12, 2017.

Another decree was issued accepting the resignation of His Royal Highness Prince Raad Bin Zaid as chief chamberlain as of January 12, 2017.

Prince Faisal, Princess Basma visit tomb of Queen Zain Al Sharaf

Amman, April 26 (Petra)--Their Royal Highnesses Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein and Princess Basma Bint Talal on Wednesday, visited the tomb of Queen Zein Al Sharaf, who passed away on April 26, 1994.

Their Highnesses laid wreaths on the tomb and recited verses from the Holy Quran.

Children from Mabarrat Um Al Hussein Orphanage and representatives of the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development also visited the tomb.
