King values call for Islamic summit
Amman, Aug. 13 (Petra) - His Majesty King Abdullah II said the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz's call for an Extraordinary Islamic Solidarity Summit is a response to the developments and challenges in the Middle East, which require coordination and integration of efforts so as to boost Islamic solidarity and find solutions to issues facing the Muslim nation.

King performs Umra

King discusses Syria with French FM
Amman, Aug. 16 (Petra)--His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday reiterated Jordan's stance on the Syrian crisis which calls for finding a quick political solution that preserves Syria's unity and independence and puts an end to bloodshed and violence.
 
August 18 , 2012 - King receives cables of congratulations on Eid Al Fitr:
Amman, Aug. 18 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II received cables of good wishes from leaders of Arab and Muslim states on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

Senders of the cables wished the King continued good health and happiness and the people of Jordan further progress and prosperity.

Im quite surprised about this trip. It says on June 29 (this article) that the King left for the U.S for the conference. We hardly heard anything on the conference or on his visit. Was it a private visit?

It seems like that dazz. KA attended the Sun Vally conference for two days only prior to his arrival back home. He took 14 days off.

Amman, July 19(Petra)-- His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah and HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, performed Friday prayer with worshippers at the King Hussein bin Talal Mosque in Amman.

The King and the worshippers listened to the Friday sermon delivered by the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Sheikh Muhammad Hussein on virtues of the holy month of Ramadan.

Yes they enjoyed a private holidays in US just before Ramadan.
