Instead of posting direct picture links from the Petra website, which expire after a while, please upload the photos on image hosting sites like Imageshack or Photobucket. It’s not that time consuming and ensures that when you revisit this thread in a couple of months or even years, it won’t be full of dead links.
I’ve also noticed that when posting articles a lot of members just post the titles and links to them. Again, links to Petra articles expire very quickly, you might want to post at least the important parts of the article (you are allowed to post up to 20%).
Alternatively, you could try posting the same or similar article from Jordan Times or another publication which archives it’s articles.
If you have any questions, send a pm to one of the Jordanian mods.
Thank you!

Thanks for all the photos, it's nice to see the JRF hosting their traditional iftars and charitable events during Ramadan.

In a handout picture released by the official Jordanian news agency (Petra), Jordan's King Abdullah II attends the Eid al-Fitr morning prayer in the Red Sea port of Aqaba on September 20, 2009.

If this is a recent picture, then I would be quite dissapointed to see KA quite dressed down for Eid.
Eid is a time when poeple dress up and look good. I would atleast expect him to wear a tie.
I know all others arent, maybe it was called as casual but a tie can also be casual.

Wearing a tie to the mosque would be quite inappropriate and uncomfortable when praying.
