Ali was in Jordan and did not visit his father's grave, Hamzah did come back to Jordan for a few days, but a few days later , last Feb, he and his wife did attend something, I think that's very odd.

Just because she wasn't seen on tv visiting her husbands' tomb that day doesn't necessarily mean she wasn't there. Maybe the cameras simply weren't there at the time...or...the media decided to focus on KA and his nuclear family...

And if she did not visit the tomb on this day, what about the many other occasions, more "regular" days that she does visit the tomb unphotographed. Just because she was not seen making a visit to her husband's tomb does not mean that she doesn't care or has forgotten about him. |

She's really keeping a low profile now that her book tour is ending or over. Has anyone read about where she's living, what she's doing, etc.?

I think she said she did, more or less, in an interview--but very subtly. Can you imagine her not having male suitors?

She's in what I would call an impossible position / role ..... I imagine with the press hounding her and the prominent role men play in the Arabian culture, and the status of her deceased husband .... she would have to be very delicate about the ardours of her suitors.

I remember Larry King asking her if she could ever get married again and she said she couldn't even think about it. I personally dont really think she'll get married, not if she doesn't want to jeopardize her son's position as crown prince of Jordan.
She has made several public appearances in the US this month. Here are some pics: At the Khalil Gibran awards in Washington, honouring Muhammad Ali (May 4) 1 2 3 4 5 May 9, At the Tribeca Film Festival Awards 1 2 3 |

Queen Noor was the epitome of a class act. She looked elegant without being over the top or excessive, modest but beautiful.
Such a shame that she leads such a low profile life these days. She is such a tremendous example to the future Queens and to elegance in general. |

Can someone in Jordan tell us (people not in Jordan) if photos of QR & QN are in the local paper? And any reaction to the American queen wearing traditional Jordanian clothing and the Palestinian queen looking very American-o.

Queen Noor's siblings may have attended the wedding but because they are not famous, maybe no one phogoraphed them or no photo agency picked up the photos.
Just because we did not see pictures of them does not mean that they didn't attend their nephew's wedding. They are private individuals even if their sister and nephew are famous. It is very likely that no member of the media even recognized them to take their picture or interview them. |

Anyone notice that Q. Noor has not posted any pictures of CP Hamzah's official wedding celebration on her website? She posted the private ceremony pictures rather quickly; but there is not even a mention of the official celebration on her website. I don't think this is coincidence.
