[font=Geneva][size=1][color=green]Hello! I'm new here. I the Jordan Royal Family especially CP Hamzi. I was sooo shocked when he got married!! :(

Um... I think if Q Noor was dating anyone, she'd most definitely keep it under wraps!

You know I went to the Petra site and saw that Q Rania also had pictures on the same day. What is so interesting is that QR's pictures are so much better than Q Noor's pictures. I think there's still a huge competition between the 2 queens.

No competition at all. Queen Noor decided on her own to keep a low profile .

I don't think that there's any competition between the two. But we can never know. They're both great anyway :)

I found the official website for the Jerash Festival, which I believe was started by Queen Noor. The website is fascinating with lots of beautiful pictures of the performers and royal family over the years. Here are some links to pictures of the royal family attending the Festival.

Thank you, queenkat. Great pictures!!! There are not many photos of Queen Rania as Princess, so this is a treat.

I heard that Q Noor was coming to Toronto in Feb. I wanted to see if I could go and see her but I don't know if she already came here or not. Does anyone know anything about this?

I know that Queen Noor will be in Vancouver in June, as part of the "Unique Lives and Experiences" tour. I'm sure she will be doing the same in Toronto.... perhaps check out the website of the tour and see the dates..... sorry I don't know the link

Queen Noor was in Toronto for this thing called Lifefest on March 12th I think. She gave a speech and there was a question and answer period. Does anyone know anything about that? I read in the newspaper that she talked about her life, her late father and her late husband, King Hussein.

I was supposed to go and see her but I had to go to a funeral. I was so upset!

It was called LifeFest, taking place March 12-14. I attended the event and was able to speak with Queen Noor for a few minutes through my press credentials. Queen Noor is a very graceful and eloquent woman. Her speech was very well written and spoken with great gentleness, especially when she spoke (quite fondly) about her late husband. It was evident the impact he had on her life and how much she continues to love him and think of him each day.

I am sorry that you were not able to make it Bandoora; it was a very interesting occasion.

a closer look

I have to say, she looks lovely as ever, specially in the traditional arab dresses she seems to prefer wearing in public

Not sure if the leather coat is appropriate for this type of an event. What was she thinking?

I wondered about the leather jacket at the funeral, too. I know it's black and all, but it seems too casual when you consider what the other royal ladies were wearing.
