Prince Hassan to head UN advisory board

Amman, June 11 (Petra)--UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon has appointed His Royal Highness Prince Hassan Bin Talal as Chairman of his advisory board on water and sanitation which was established in 2004 to give advice to the UN chief as well as to galvanize action on water and sanitation issues.

Princess Sarvath of Jordan (L) and an unidentified woman walk towards St. John's Church for the funeral of Moritz, Landgrave of Hesse in Kronberg/Taunus, Germany, 03 June 2013. Moritz, Prince and Landgrave of Hesse died at the age of 86 on 23 May in Frankfurt. He was the head of the House of Hesse and related to a few of the royal European houses.

HRH Prince Hassan is appointed as the new Chair of UNSGAB,the United Nations Secretary Generals Advisory Board on Water and Sanitation.

The Prince is the successor of HM King Willem-Alexander of The Netherlands who stepped down from this office as He ascended the Dutch Throne on april 30th.

Prince Hassan will deliver his keynote speech during the International Water Week,Amsterdam november 4th till 8th 2013.
 
Sunday 9 March 2014: Their Royal Highnesses Prince El Hassan bin Talal and Princess Sarvath El Hassan, accompanied by HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, attended the 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner of the International Community School held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Amman. Their Royal Highnesses are patrons of the school. HRH Prince El Hassan gave a welcome speech in which he remembered his time at the school when it was known as Miss Webster's. Prince El Hassan was one of the school’s first registered pupils.

Amman, May 18 (Petra) - was attended by His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal, the closing ceremony of the first phase of restoration work Mushatta Desert Palace funded by the German government and carried out by a team of Jordanian - German joint.

I was very upset when -all of a sudden- after decades of faithful and loyal service to the Crown, the couple Hassan and Sarvath were shoven aside for Abdullah and Rania, just days before King Hussein died. Still I keep Hassan and Sarvath in so much more esteem than the current royal couple.
