I was going to mention KH's birthday yesterday, but couldn't find the thread to put the post in.

Where is Queen Noor ? SQhe didn't visit the grave ?
And also Lil Monkey said that Queen Muna wasn't divorced, what do you mean ? Do you mean that she was still KH's wife until his death ?

but how can he have married queen noor - when he still was married to princess muna?

what a bad husband when it was this way...

What's wrong with that? A man can marry upto 4 women in Islam.

queen noor never wrote about that fact in her book.she talks about him - like he was only her husband.they had trouble because of the thing with his secretary.why should they have had trouble - when he was married with for example princess muna too?

In every book I've read on King Hussein, it says he divorced Princess Muna in 1972 two months before marrying Alia Toukan, who became Queen Alia. In Roland Dallas' book, King Hussein: A Life on the Edge," he states: "Alia met the King in 1972 when she was working on a trip that the King was making on Royal Jordanian. At that time, by one account, the King and Muna were estranged and living apart. By another account, their divorce had been decided, a surprise that was not sought or wanted by Muna. Her version of events is not available; as part of the divorce settlement she undertook not to make it public."

In another commerative book on King Hussein after his death and released by the KHF, it states he and Princess Muna were divorced in 1972.

I don't think King Hussein had multiple wives at the same time. QN doesn't really address the issue except to say in her book she tried to approach the whole extended family issue in an idealistic way, "including all the children and former wives at family gatherings."

I read somewhere, can't remember where, that she remarried only in 1992, I think that's odd, the only time I saw her was on JTV, back in 1999, and she was at Pan- Arabic games, talking to Queen Noor, they seemed to be in very good terms, while QN and P Muna , though sitting one next the other, were never even looking at each other, let alone ever talk.... well, Queen Dina, or is she now P Dina ?, she looked not so young, her hair were grey and she was far older than the pix we have of the time she was married to KH,- as I also read she had 3 kids after her divorce from KH, could it be she remarried twice ? one when she was still young, and one in 1992. Btw, I also noticed she was very close to her daughter P Alia, who was there, as almost every member of JRF.

I know that KH could not stand her, he even accused P Muna to bash and slander his wife Noor and his 2 sons by her, saying that those rumours were - mean stuff said by a mean woman- those were his words, maybe not exactly, but very close to what he said, she even lived in UK and US with her 4 kids for a very long time after KH married Queen Alia, so I'm confused, if she was really still his wife, KH had an odd behaviour, and if so, why did she try to commit suicide when she learnt he was to get married to another woman ?

I do wonder if it's true, where is the source of it, can any1 tell me where can I read something about the fact KH never divorced P Muna ? It's the 1st time I ever hear about it, and I think that's odd as KH was not the kind of man who has more than 1 wife, every time he got tired of his wife, he asked for a divorce, and would QN stand not being his only wife? - anyway, P Muna was always standing in the shadow since her divorce from KH til his death, when her own son became King of Jordan, if she had been entitled to be a kind of queen of Jordan, just like Alia and Noor, she would have not lived in the shadow for so many years, and KH would have had the duty to treat Muna like his wife, he could not keep on ignoring her for 17 years ......

This may sound off topic, but why this forum or this thread precisely is turning into an anti certain member of JRF? Though TRF is democratic place yet this doesn't mean people spread rumors/gossip/uncertain news (like the other forums) just to proof their point of view or just to show how much they love a certain JRF member by bashing the other member who isn't seeing eye to eye with the person they admire. This really insensitive and rude, I can understand being biased as I think it's natural but sometimes things go over the edge.
