Hi all.
I have a question about which royals attended King Hussein's funeral in Jordan. This is the list I can come up with from the photos I remember seeing at the time: -King Juan Carlos, Prince Felipe, Jamie de Marichalar (husband of Infanta Elena) and Inaki Urdangarin (husband of Infanta Cristina) of Spain -King Constantine, Prince Pavlos, Prince Nikolaos, Carlos Morales (husband of Princess Alexia, who was a goddaughter of King Hussein) of Greece -Prince Charles Can anyone else fill in the list? And I recall seeing pictures of Queen Sofia greeting Queen Noor (the Spanish and Jordanian royals were quite close, I recall) but I thought that women are not permitted at funerals as is custom in Jordan? Was there a seperate service for the women to attend? Thanks in advance for all your help. |

Thank you for reminder it is the anniversary of KH's death. Time is flying by, isn't it? Likely, QN is mourning privately or not in Jordan as she has some upcoming commitments in next 2 days in US, giving talks.
Great photos too!!!! I haven't seen them before--or the majority of them at least. Thank you all for your contributions! |
