It's all true--no rumor for once. Princess Dina was divorced by KH while out of the country and not allowed to see her daughter, Alia, for years. And, yes, it was the gracious, thougtful Princess Muna who convinced KH to reunite mother and daughter. Now, I don't know who raised Alia but a busy, young playboy king wouldn't be around a lot and families mean a great deal in arabic societies so either she was raised by a nanny guided by Queen Zein or Queen Zein as who else would have taken care of her? I admire KH very much and understand he was young, a little insensitive, didn't like his challenging arranged marriage to the intellectual Dina....but this was one of the decisions he made (keeping mother and daughter apart) which was a poor one. My opinion.

Possibly both ! No - joking apart, I actually have never heard that Q. Noor has ever resported to physical violence at any time . But obviously looking good, if not young is important to her or else why would there have been so much cosmetic surgery done, so I guess she wouldn't thank you for reminding me of that extra year !

It does seem to be the case that she's willing to go to lengths to look her best. But I give her credit. . .she's pretty open and out there about her age. And I think she's a peace-loving, non-slapping sort of woman. . .you know, Seeds of Peace and all that. Still, I don't think she'll be sending me any thank you cards soon for not letting the 1952 birth date stand. :-)

for whatever my opinion is worth....KH looks most 'at ease' around QN. he seems to be quite comfortable in her prescense(can't spell it). it might have to do with his age or his comfort with his status and position in the world but definately he doesn't not look like a man who just lost 'the love of his life' a year earlier.

It could be a combination of many things, but I don't think when posing for a picture with his new wife he's going to be looking depressed, but I'm sure on the inside he was still grieving for his former wife...as far as marrying as quickly as he did is anybody's guess.
