Jordan's constitutional monarchy on hold

JAMAL HALABY

Associated Press

AMMAN, Jordan - Jordan's reform-minded, U.S.-educated monarch, King Abdullah II, follows two separate lines when discussing the idea of surrendering some powers and moving his kingdom toward a European-style constitutional monarchy.

the above article alleges that the family's palace in Aqaba was damaged during the missile attack last week.
That must've been so scary for Abdullah and Rania.
I hope no one was there at the time.

Have you noticed in the photographs how the length of her pink dress changes?

Aww, poor Muna. I only see her in two pictures and she's off to the side. Whereas Queen Noor is front and center, fluorescent in coral or beaded in gold.

Yes, because she changed her outfit three times. And her hair three times as well. And jewelry changes. A very fashion conscious lady.

I think Queen Noor just changed her skirt. She wore a shorter skirt for the signing of the marriage contract ceremony and then for the reception at night she wore a long skirt. That was on the same day.
For the second reception (that was a different day) she wore the blue dress.

LOL, she may have just changed the skirt, but she also changed the hair, the earrings, the necklace.... she probably spent the majority of the day in her stylist's chair!

I don't think u read the article carefully,it said
At least one of four other unfired missiles allegedly smuggled in from Iraq are believed to have targeted Abdullah's beachfront palace just west of the port.

So the King's Palace in Aqaba wasn't damaged or even hit by the missile attack.
Just thought of making it clear. :)

The Jordanian royal women have adopted more traditional dress for weddings nowadays. The outfits that the women wore for King abdullah's wedding are in such contrast to that of which they wore during Prince Hamzah's wedding.

What type of trouble? I would like to know about it too. The only thing I read about Muna's trouble is actually after KH's death, not during or before, when she claimed a mansion in Britain and QN wanted it too as his widow, PM had no right to inherit anything from the King, according to Islam but she said that she is originally British and she lived in the mansion longer therefore it's her right.

KA Abdullah solved the problem by establishing her own office in one of the Palaces in Jordan and giving her a more appearance in public. I don't know if the story is true, but she does have an office and she does appear a lot.

If she had caused problems to KH and QN, she would have done it to QA too but we never heard about it. Anyway, if the trouble she caused involved her children then I guess she has the right to do so.
