"Because Ishak is not a part of the immediate family, she is not obligated to marry royalty. She said in Jordan, marriage is a family affair where meetings are arranged with potential spouses before they are wed."

That is very interesting, but yes, who is she! She is very religious--I don't think I've seen any other JRF members that covered up, certainly not outside the ME.

Religion is about faith......not how much you wrap yourself up.

Lindy80, I know what you meant, I just disagreed with it. Just because a muslim woman wraps herself up in x number of layers does not make her any more religious than somebody who doesn't

Lovely pictures of Princess Muna and her twins with KH, I just loved them, one can tell how an excellent mother she is. One picture includes KA and KH while graduation from Sandhurst and you can see Muna at the back smiling. Plus an extra ordinary picture of her, posing in a very sweet way, and another photo of the wedding.

I told my dad about what I read (as he's a Political science prof.),he told me that even IF her mum was a princess that DOESN'T make her a princess, she only gets the title from her father who must be a prince OR get the title by a Royal decree, like Princess Alia's son.

So she isn't really a princess...but she might be a Hashimi, wich as Amoula said is a surname not necessary "royal".

I agree, I think it has nothing to do with religion, but with ME and Arab ppl, from N. Africa, too, way of life , I think a woman is far more intriguing dressed in a abaja or what else, than we from the West who wear mini-skirts, mini- pants, bare belly- buttons with a piercing etc- btw, are piercing popular in ME women ? -

It was like that with all of their events, you'd think that from the pictures with Queen Noor's constant presence that she was Abdullah's mother, not Muna. I have no real problem with Muna not being there, she avoids the limelight (although you wonder if she was even invited to be included in the first place) but I think Queen Noor always being there front and center was inappropriate and tactless.

of course, Muna was at KA's wed, she lookd so happy, i'll post the pix, QN was always giggling and chatting to Q Sophia of spain, while Muna was with her own father, I have 1 or 2 pix of both of them, QN and muna in the same group, but not talking to each other.
