Don't mean to offend but the Jordanian Constitution will not allow it. This was (if I'm correct) due to Queen Zein , placing a condition that those whom hold Monarchial titles within Jordan must be Arab.:)

No offence meant by my comments.:)

I just remember in Leap of Faith her talking about how her paternal grandparents were from Aleppo in Syria, and living shortly in Lebanon before coming to America. And that her mother was Swedish/European. She must look like her mother's family, she doesn't look Arab to me at all.

No matter what Noor says she is still very American to me. She is just a quarter Arab. She does'nt have any ties in Syria or Lebanon where her descendents came from. So I don't see why Princess Muna can't be made Queen mother, the title is rightfully her. Though it would be rather complicated having 3 Queens for one country!

I thought she was half Arab? Weren't Najeeb's parents both Syrian? And she does physically look more American, more western. But it depends on what you use to define what makes someone "American" and "Arab," to me it's not appearances. :)

Queen Noor is the official dowager Queen? I wasn't sure if the use of Queen before her name was official or not. And as far as Muna, didn't she not want the title of Queen when she was married? Maybe she doesn't want it now? She was never "Queen" to begin with right? Either I hear she was, or I hear that she wasn't.

Muna was'nt made Queen because at the ttime she married King Hussein there was a lot of of anti-British feling prevelant in Jordan. That's why the King felt it would be better for her to adopt the title 'Princess'

her hair is lighten.
but she has the beauty of an arab.
that doesnt mean non arabs arent beauty.
but its a special beauty and she has it.
an arab must not have dark hair and skin to be arab.
there are enough with lighten hair.
so whats so western on her?
