If ANYONE deserves recognition as the TRUE Imperial Dynasty of Iran, it is the Qajars.
The "Pahlevi" made up their name. Reza Khan was a Turkic tribesman who overthrew the real Royal Family.

What make you think that way? The period when Iran was ruled by Qajars was one of the most terrible period in Iran's history. It was a time of military defeats, ceding Iranian lands, vast expenditures for the royal court and the royal families as the Qajar kings had many children and all of them wanted to have a princely life and Iran was going to be divided between UK and Russia during their reign. So they will never be remembered as the true imperial family of Iran.
