The empress is beautiful and she also has a wonderful family. The oil painting are very nicely done of both her and the late shah.

She is a very elegant lady who managed to live since the exile, a scandal free life and maintain her relationships with European Royalty and nobility. She has also been through a lot of pain and humiliation but always kept her dignity. This is class.

I have little knowledge of the Pahlavi family. I assume that they have wealth and are able to live comfortably. Is Iran still trying to arrest them or did Iran stop going after them after the Shah died?

I read on the web that the eldest son of the late shah is not allowed to enter the country of Iran but I do not know about the rest of the imperial family.

Hope the Pahlavies can return to Iran someday. Exhile is the worst thing to happen to a person. Children has not to pay to the sins of their parents...

Dear Elisenda because of the copyright it is a bit difficult for me to make it possible to show who is who in the pictures, and unfortunately I do not know ever one.
Flickr Photo Download: Photo190_1

Beside HIM the Shah, is HIH Princess Leila, HIM Empress Farah, HIH Prince Ali-Reza II, HIH Princess Ashraf, behind HIH Princess Ashraf is HH Prince Mehrdad Pahlebod husband of HIH Princess Shams. Behind the Shah I think it is HH Princess Simin the wife of HIH Prince Abdul-Reza, left to her is her husband HIH Prince Abdul-Reza and in front of him HIH Princess Farahnaz, to the right of HIH Princess Farahnaz I think is HIH Prince Mahmoud-Reza or HIH Prince Hamid-Reza.

To the right of HH Princess Simin is HIH Prince Gholam-Reza and in front of him HIH Crown-prince Reza Pahlavi, next to the crown-prince is HH Princess Manijeh, the wife of HIH Prince Gholam-Reza. On the left of HIM the Shah I think is HIH Princess Shahnaz. The others are a bit difficult to see and as I said before I do not know everyone.
