Lol, why would we love the Pahlavis? :)

On another note, that show was the most scripted "reality" show I've ever seen!

americans should love the pahlavis because they are the moooooooost secular people coming from a ruling Muslim house that you can get plus they are most willing to be western puppets. ...it's the u.s who reinstated the shah through operation ajax. so the u.s. government at least loves the royal family ---- i think there was even talk of bringing back the peacock throne with the shah's son...

anyway, it is a scripted show which mmakes it all the more boring. i mean, it doesn't even seem remotely realistic. they should have at least tried to make it seem real if they were going to do a script.

Phew, I was thinking you were going to say something to the opposite, prompting me to launch into the Operation Ajax saga. I'm glad you are well aware of it already! :) It seems to be a "forgotten" event in history.

Ugh, and I hated the scripted little scenarios that Anne Claire kept finding herself in. Very boring. I would watch that I Married a Princess (except that Catherine von Oxenberg doesn't even have the title of Princess...) show before I'd watch another Love is in the Heir.

Ann Claire is not what royalty is about. She doesn't even have a title!!

I saw the episode when her sister came to visit her, OMG what a snob her sister is as is the rest of the family. For a family that only has one titled member (the father), they put on more airs and graces than any other Royal!!!

I know! I watched part of it and wanted to just go up to her and scream, "shut up!!" because she does whine and can't sing. (IMHO) I never could make it through a full episode without flipping through the other thans...every other minute. Her sister did seem really snobbish. (The whole show has to have been scripted, or it seemed that way to me.)

I thought it was funny that she went to Nashville thinking she would get a career even though she can,t sing. Here's a photos of her at the Global Vision for Peace party.from Splash news.com

I dont know if anyone notices or not, but Anne-claire has a stricking resemblence to her grandmother, princess Shams. Though suprisingly Shams was very beautiful and elegant looking, Anne is the entire opposite in her photos.

She is christian. Because her grandparents ( Shams and her husband) converted to catholic religion many years ago before she was born, and her mother is from Newzeland who is also christian.
Anyway, being moslem dosen't prevent anyone to wear what he/she likes!!!!!

She is an adorable princess and I saw a few episodes of Her Royal Highness' television show where she searched for love in California ... what is HRH up to lately?

Who knows. Hopefully, in my opinion, we'll never have to see her again.

Sorry but Ann Claire is extremely annoying from my perspective and thank heavens E! cancelled her irritating show. Ugh, that voice of her's... like nails on a chalk board.

I never got to hear Her Royal Highness sing, or do you mean her accent? I only saw the episode where the princess went on a date with a millionaire in southern California. I think she also fired one of her servants and replaced him with someone more efficient.

I wonder if she has visited her homeland?
