Dear Warren, the flag you have used on the top of the page is the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran and not the old flag of Iran, the flag during the Imperial government had a Lion and Sun motif:

I used the Iran flag found in the Smilie gallery.
As that is not appropriate for this Forum I've changed it to the Imperial Flag.
