Don't know if they have allowed the photographers to take pictures from the entire Family together inside the Castle.

I image that duchess Fleur and her family were not present because she's at the very end of her pregnacy, right?

Well, that explains her absense indeed! The birth of their 15th grand child must be the nicest gift the Ducal couple could wish for for their golden wedding. And what a lovely name!
Countess Livia is the 85th grand child of the late count and countess of Paris btw.

Netty writes on her site Netty's Royalty Page that Duke Eberhardt of Wurtemberg (b.1963) got engaged this month, but to whom she doesn't know.
Anyone knows?

In my opinion, her words do not reflect well on her character. She appears very self-centered and almost goes out of her way to insult people intentionally. As a fellow Christian, I hope that she was having a bad day, and that she usually displays more of the compassion that she advocates early in the interview.
The Duchess says a couple of clearly foolish things... especially for someone whose family is steeped in the history of Europe. When asked by the reporter whether God is losing a certain amount of credibility due to the scandal of pederasty, she ended her remarks with: "Catholics, unlike Jews or Arabs, have never known how to defend their religion." Really? Has she forgotten the Crusades and the Inquisition? (Not to mention that "Arab" isn't a religion.... I believe that she meant "Muslim" or "Islamic").
In any event, I was left with the impression that she is a profoundly insecure person whose defense mechanisms (grandiosity, devaluation) are rather primitive and brittle, and that she spends a fair amount of time trying to feel better about herself (by puffing herself up or by devaluing others). A pity, especially for someone in a position of influence who could model a different attitude. Sadly this interview confirms, in my mind, a great deal of what has been written about her.

I totally agree with you.
Naturally Diane of Orléans has excuses: her mother discovered the good sides of motherhood only when become old, she was less invited in «*mondanités parisiennes*» and was isolated, her husband having abandoned her. Duchess Diane was a hyperactive and rebel child. In this time the children who learnt slowly, the hyperactive children and all the children who presented certain particular behavior were sent to special and unique schools whatever is the "pathology" etc....
Her parents were a dysfonctionnel couple etc....
Nevertheless, Diane always appeared to me to have inherited from the superficiality and from the narcissime of her mother power 1000.
She is indeed an egocentric person. She considers herself superior to each. Her care concentrates only on herself and on her family, her blood. I am still asked if her charity business really came from the heart.
The French and German press always found her «*as an entertainment" but without particular talents and without any importance.

I come from the south of Germany and lived some years near Stuttgart. Here, nearly no one knows the family of Württemberg. This is because they do not live in the capital Stuttgart, but 200KM away at Lake Constance.
But it is also because they are Catholic. I guess that's why they are rejected. In the Lake Constance region Catholics are nothing unusual. For the older people in the old part of Württemberg (Stuttgart area, for example), it is often a problem when someone is Catholic. At least in my experience.
to me - because I'm interested in royale themes - the family of Württemberg, especially Carl and Diane, is very unappealing. Carl gives a unintelligent impression. Diane appears to me through the media as a snob, arrogant and conceited. What bothers me e.g. also, that Diane demands to be addressed as "Royal Highness" by interviewers. But the nobility has been abolished in Germany. The nobles are at no special rights. Finally, Germany is a republic.

Any knowledge meanwhile who Eberhard Wuerttemberg is engaged to? So far all Wuerttemberg engagements have been published by photos in "Seeger Press" but I don´t have account anymore.

It will be interesting to know if Eberhard is indeed engaged, as he is 47. Eberhard is the son who was linked to Infanta Elena of Spain.
I have wondered if Diane really harmed her sons by demanding that they marry nobility, thus perhaps delaying the marriages of her sons Eberhard and Michael.
Michael married at age forty to commoner Julia Storz in 2006. Has Diana been welcoming to her? Are Diane's other children's marriages happy?

Still no news about the allegedly engagement of Eberhard?
I wonder why Duchess Marie stopped after three births having children at the age of only 24 and only four years of marriage. She´s only 37 nowadays and could´ve had a big family after she was only 19 when she married.
