May we wait till christening for the little boy's name ?

Could somebody please post a picture of Natalie at Victoria's wedding! I swear , It'I never got to see a picture of her ... I think we'll know the name of the baby at his christening, it's a tradition in the DRF, anyway .. congratulations to the family!

Great news.
My congratulation to the Royal Family!

Congratulation. It's great news...

Indeed Congratulations, I can't wait for the christening.

According to the following German article the little boy is called Konstantin!

In case that this information is true, that's a really nice first name, sounds
good! :)

The article doesn't include any more news, besides the fact that the
baby was born at the Helios hospital in Bad Berleburg.

** Konstantin ist da! Prinzessin Nathalie ist Mama **

Interesting first name, I didn't think they would pick Konstantin.

Thanks for the picture, marymaxima.

And congratulations to the couple and their child; my mother said that each baby comes with its own love, so may this increase their portion of happiness as well.

I wonder if the baby was named after Natalie's uncle, King Constantine. Is Konstantin with a "K" the Danish or German version of this name?
I know King Constantine gave Natalie her Olympic medal when she won; perhaps they are close because of their shared Olympic experiences.
Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands has King Constantine as one of his godfathers, so he was probably named after the king, too.

Congratulations to Nathalie & Alexander on the birth of their son.

Congratulations! What a nice name he has. :flowers:

Summary of article in Billed Bladet #30, 2010.
Han er stor og dejlig - He is big and lovely.
Written by Anna Johannesen.

Where Princess Benedikte talks about her new grandson.
He was born on Saturday at 18.45 measuring 58 cm and weighing 3.700 grammes.

Benedikte said: "He is a big and lovely boy with blond hair and blue eyes. I'm happy that the birth went well and that Prince Richard and I have had yet another lovely grandchild (barnebarn). I've visited my daughter at the hospital several times and both she and the child are fine.

The wedding between Nathalie and her Alexander took place at Berleburg on the 27. May in what the Germans call a Standesamtliche Trauung, I.e. a civil wedding.

Nathalie and her husband plus baby now live at Berleburg Manor.

Nathalie is a Danish citizen, her Alexander Johannsmann is a German citizen, he kept his surname after their wedding.

According to the article it is speculated in Germany that the boy's name will be Konstantin.

It has not yet been decided when the christening will take place.

I'm sorry, but Nathalie was horrible...

You mean she looked different and not as good as she normally does,
but well, you have to think of the fact that a birth is a very extreme,
painful and debilitating process. You can see it in many women in their
first days and weeks after a birth, besides that it's also not the best
shot from the photographic aspect ;)

I think we have to understand that Nathalie had just delivered a child to the world, she's probably very tired, a birth it's a very painful and strong thing to endure. Let's just give her a break and wish her and her new family the absolute best.

That's a very German/Danish name I like that they have kept with tradition.

And here's the first pic of little Konstantin and his parents before
leaving the hospital! Konstantin had been 58 cm and weighed 3.700
gramme when he was born. :)

** Pic ** article: Konstantin erfreut das Fürstenhaus **

Nathalie does look different after having the baby, but she has just had a baby so a little weight is expected. Shame she wasn't at Gratsen. :)
